Chapter 10

Sasuke was starting to piece it together. Was Naruto an omega? That's impossible, he's a boy! Sasuke thought more. Then he realized. When Naruto was sick, he was having symptoms of mating season. And it had lured Sasuke in. And when they were done, Naruto felt better. Then he did start to get sick...

Sasuke felt like an idiot. How had he not realized it before?

He rubbed his eyes, denying what was happening. They were 12 and 13! What was Naruto thinking? Why did he keep the baby?

He looked at the calendar. He would just have to keep the blonde safe until his Maternity Leave. He looked to the photo, and smiled. That was his baby. Another Uchiha. But it was inside of Naruto.

Sasuke heard noises coming from the entryway, and stopped at the sound of an opening door. Naruto was home. Sasuke quickly ran to the side of the room, slipping out the window. He jumped onto the dirt road quietly, running home.

The next day, Naruto left for training. He was surprised when Sasuke caught up to him, smiling. What was this?

"Hi Naruto," Sasuke said. Naruto flinched. What was he planning?

"H-hey teme. What are you doing? Shouldn't you already be at training?" Sasuke was usually early, but had waited for the blonde.

"I was running a little late, and wanted some company while I walked. What's wrong with that?" Sasuke asked. Naruto huffed, rolling his eyes.

"N-nothing. Let's just get there, okay?"

Kakashi beamed as he watched Naruto and Sasuke approach together. Did Naruto finally tell him? He hoped so.

"Good morning! Today we're going to be doing training! We'll have Sasuke vs Sakura, best two out of three!" Kakashi said. Sakura was a questioning look.

"What about Naruto?" she asked. 

"Oh- uh... Naruto is going to help me strategize for our next mission! I could really use his intel!" Kakashi made the excuse. Sakura shrugged, heading over to where Sasuke was.

Naruto plopped down next to Kakashi, watching them fight.

"Kakashi-Sensei! When I said one more week,  didn't mean not being able to do anything! I can still fight pretty well!" the blonde whined. Kakashi sighed.

"Naruto, we can't risk it. You can come back after your maternity leave and train all you want, okay?"

Naruto huffed, turning his attention back to his teammates. Sasuke had pinned Sakura already. Their faces were close. 

"Sasuke wins! Rematch?" Kakashi asked, but just as Sasuke was getting up, Sakura kissed him, full on the lips, and held him tight. Sasuke tried to break free, but couldn't. Naruto's eyes widened as he saw the scene, tears in his eyes. He ran to the woods, without being noticed by anyone.

"What the hell, Sakura!?" Sasuke yelled, backing away from the pinkette. She smiled, blushing.

"Do you think I'm a good kisser, Sasuke-kun?" she asked.

Hate burned in the raven's heart. What the hell was she thinking?

"No! I hate you! I hate girls! Get away from me!" Sasuke yelled, his sharingan enabling. Sakura stumbled back, crying now.

"That's enough, Sasuke," Kakashi said, getting in between the two.

Sasuke whipped around. "Where's Naruto?" he asked. Before he could answer, Sasuke ran into the woods, following the sound of stifled cries.

"Naruto!" Sasuke yelled, running towards the boy. Naruto was huddled in a bush, his arms on his stomach, crying.

"Naruto," Sasuke breathed, sitting next to him. He knew that Naruto had mood swings, so he was careful to be gentle with him.

"Go away, Sasuke," Naruto huffed, putting his head down. Sasuke got closer, hugging the boy.

"Why would you kiss Sakura like that?" Naruto sobbed. "D-does what happened not mean anything?"

Sasuke's shook his head, his sharingan going away. "No, Naruto! Sakura kissed me when I was pinning her with a kunei. Kakashi had to stop me from killing her afterwards."

Naruto's eyes shimmered, accompanied by his soft giggle. Sasuke's heart fluttered. Was now a good time to tell him, that he knew?

No. It wasn't.

Sasuke was basically protecting and doing everything for Naruto that whole week, which angered Sakura a lot. Kakashi shipped it instantly, but couldn't help but think about their baby.
