Me and the twins ran into the castle and up to the highest floor of Hogwarts. We sat there all watching the shield crumble like a pack of cards.
"You okay, Freddie?" George asks Fred
"Yeah" he replies
"Me too" George nudges him
They both share a smile
"You okay, Ev?" Fred asks
"Yeah" I bowed my head
"You don't look it." George says
"Don't die." I look at them
"Us..die?! You'd be mad!" They both joked
I laughed
"Let's get down shall we? And fight." Fred smirks
On our way down I saw Moony. I ran and gave him a hug like he was my father
"Sirius would have been so proud that you are fighting like this" he smiled
"Don't go Moony. Don't die please, you're the only one left.." I trail off on the verge of tears
"I won't be going anywhere, little one" he kissed my forehead
"I have to go but please see me after the war. I need to know if you're okay" I said holding his hand
"We will be fine, my dear. Teddy will be fine everything will be fine." He hugged me again
Tonks had just given birth to Teddy. I haven't seen him yet but I figured he's going to be one fun person to hang around with.
"Bye Moony! Love you, can't wait to spend summer with you!" I smiled up at him who gave me a smile down
"You too." He replied
"Thankfully it isn't the full moon" I joked
He laughed as I ran with the Twins away and out of sight. We got down the steps to where the main part of the battle commenced.
Everyone was running everywhere, I knew Draco had to be in the castle somewhere.
"Twins I will be right back! I need to look for Draco." I shouted over the swarming people
They nodded as I ran up the moving stairs, I heard something hit Hogwarts. All the paintings were going haywire aswell.
"Draco!" I shouted down every hall
The dust was begging to come on my face as part of the hall was crumbling
"DRACO!" I shouted running down another hall
Where could he be? I soon kept running what felt like forever until I hit the floor. I must of bashed into something, I looked up to see..
"Draco!" I shouted getting up and hugging him really tight, he did it back
We both looked into eachothers eyes
"Listen my darling, I'm not sure I will make this out alive but if I don't I promise I love you. I will forever love you." He kissed me tenderly
"Shhh Draco. Nobody going to go anywhere" I smile
"This is a war. Not a playground anymore, love" we both touch foreheads
"I know. It never has been" I planted a sad smile on my face
He held my hand and squeezed tightly.
"I'm so glad you're alive.." he trailed off
