It was a boring night and it was time for bed. Abby didn't want to go to bed though. She is young and has so much energy. Yet it's getting late, so her dad took her to her room. He had an idea to help her sleep; a bed time story! She laid down and he got out the book. The Snake Prince!

"The prince fell in love with this commoner. She had gorgeous pink hair, she was like no other. Mitsuri, the woman of his dreams. He made sure his snakes were friendly."

"Stoppppp! Please dad no more. This story is so boring! I'm going to die from how basic it is! It's always the same. Prince falls in love with a commoner. Doesn't seem like it would work and then it does at the end. Happily ever after. Gimme something new!"

"You want a different romance book before bed?"

"Yes!"

"How about a fantasy romance? Plus it even has the same characters. This one is about the great knight Sanemi though."

"Ooo! Yes dad that story sounds so much better! He is my favorite character! Please read me that one!"

The dad went over and grabbed the other book. It was called Sanemi's Smallest Adventure. Yes it also sounded basic but, it's a bedtime story. So what to expect? He flipped it open and started reading.

"Prince Obanai had his best knight go and look around the neighboring kingdom. So he set foot as soon as possible. It didn't bother him to travel at night. He got there after a week long walk. It didn't slow him down any though. Once he made it to the kingdom, he looked around. Listened in on many people's conversations to learn. Nothing sounded all that cool, except for one thing."

"What was it? Was it a evil kingdom?"

"Calm down, I'm getting there."

"Okay, so... Nothing sounded all that cool, except for one thing. There was a sorcerer. This sorcerer was said to be super mysterious and nobody knew where they lived. Just that they visited this kingdom every Friday and creates havoc. He wrote a letter to his prince and waited. While he waited, he saw the sorcerer on Friday.
It wasn't as bad as he had heard. Just playing small tricks. Nothing life threatening. Sanemi sighed and went to meet this mystery sorcerer. He ran after him into the forest and stopped him. Sanemi pulled off the sorcerer's hood. The sorcerer was a young man with dark black hair. Also had blue eyes.
Soon it started pouring down so they ran and found a small cave. There was enough room for the two of them but a few more and it would've been crowded. The sorcerer took off their cloak. They had no shirt on, easily could tell they were male."

"The sorcerer took off his cloak and is shirtless now? Shouldn't the prince take off some clothes too? To not get sick from the wet clothes?"

"Haha, yeah we are getting there. So back to the story... easily could tell they were male. Well Sanemi didn’t want to get sick either. So he took off his armor and his clothes except for his undergarments. The sorcerer was a quiet man. He also wanted to bother the knight for following him.
So he got close and gave the man a hug. Sanemi knew he was playing around and decided to play back. He put his hand on his butt and stayed in that hugging position. He made the sorcerer blush from embarrassment."

"This is very gay dad."

"What do you mean? They were  just playing around."

"No, that's what the author wants you to think. They were seriously just being gay."

"Okay, okay. Maybe it is, but can I finish? We are almost done... Alright, so he made the sorcerer blush from embarrassment. The night went on and they had to stay close for heat. Especially since they didn't have a fire. When the next day rolled around, they got dressed and Sanemi took the sorcerer to his own kingdom. Introduced him to the king, and had him be an entertainer. They became close friends over the years and were known throughout the whole kingdom. The end."

He closed the book and looked at his sleeping daughter. It was definitely a book to be read another night again. Also he didn’t expect his daughter to catch on the gay tones. He smiled and put the book away and went to bed.
