I looked at her as if she was saying something very archaic. I tried to comprehend but I could not.
When she placed the roses on the grass, I saw her tuck some strands of hair at the back of her ear. She was never meant to be this pretty, but she is. As soon as I had the thought, I had to stop myself.
"Alex.." I spoke as I stared at the sunset sky. There's something about the orange hues that would make you want to be vulnerable.
Right now, I think I am.
I wonder what's in her head. Tinignan ko siya ng maigting.
"I think I'm crazy," I said, habang nararamdaman kong unti unti nang nagiging disyerto ang lalamunan ko.
"At ngayon niya lang nalaman" I heard her speak under her breath. As she laughs, I take my chance to make her look at me. I held her chin to face my direction.
"Alex.. may sasabihin ako."
Years ago, I thought love was a fallacy.
It was no more than a fool's joke.
But then she came, and now I question everything I have ever believed in.
