the door slammed shut, an officer walking into the room with the blonde sitting at the empty metal table, a hand cuffed to a metal leg while the other was required to be placed flat on the top.
"takami." the officer greeted, but keigo didn't say anything in response, his eyes pierced through her with his stale expression, "i bet this is better than being cooped up in your cell?"
"still stuck here," he smiled but it was one consumed by annoyance , "and it's for something i didn't do." it came out in a grit, and that made the officers' brows raise, "all evidence points directly to you, takami."
"she was my girlfriend," he argued, "and you are also the only person in her life alive." she slammed a file onto the table, a picture of you paperclipped onto the side while the evidence files stuck on the opposite side of the open folder, "how about we try this again. tell me what you know,"
"i don't know anything more than what you do," he shakes his head, looking up to the plain ceiling, just to avoid your stare from the photo, the same one he took for you on your trip to the train station, you looked so happy.
"damn it keigo! just say what you know so i can prove your innocence," she sighed, brushing her platinum hair back into it's messy bun, "i know you're innocent, help me prove it."
he shook his head again, he wasn't going to answer her, even being partners in detective work she still didn't know. he was anything but innocent.
