My feet slowly trudged over the carpeted floor as I got up early for a day of looking at the arena. My management thought it would be a good thing to visit a few of the arenas in the area that I would be playing in during the summer.
To me I thought it was quite ridiculous but I wasn't going to say a word, especially not with Mason around. Speaking of him, he still slept soundly in the warm hotel bed and I wasn't about to wake him up. I didn't need to be yelled at this early in the morning.
Quietly, I grabbed my key card and phone off the stand and made my way out the door and to the room right beside mine, needing to get my clothes from Taylor. He was a close friend and also my stylist.
After knocking on the door, I waited a moment before his tanned face appeared in front of me.
"Good morning, Vannah." He smiled, using the nickname he gave me when we first met. I smiled back at him as he ushered me inside, closing the door behind him.
"Morning, Taylor, do you have anything picked out for me to wear?" I asked. He nodded his head.
"Yes, it's over here." Grabbing my hand, he pulled me over to bed where a black long sleeved shirt and a simple pair of denim skinny jeans waited for me. It wasn't too dressed up or too laid back either and it looked really pretty.
"Thanks a million, Taylor." I grinned, turning to give him a hug. He squeezed my small frame, saying you're welcome.
I grabbed the clothes from him and headed into the bathroom. I stripped of my pajama set, putting on the clean clothes I was given. Once I finished I gave myself a once over, making sure that I wasn't to exposed anywhere.
Mason would bitch at me until I changed if it showed too much.
As I deemed the outfit appropriate, I opened the door, grabbing my dirty cloths and putting them in a bag to be washed. My hair and make-up artist, Amy, was sitting across from Taylor as her stuff was sprawled out in front of her. I walked over sitting in a chair beside them.
"Good morning Savannah, are you ready for hair and make-up or do you want to order breakfast first?" I perked up at the mention of food. It didn't take me long before saying we should have breakfast and ordering.
In a matter of ten minutes I have an egg and biscuit sandwich placed in front of me. I wasn't that hungry but I knew that I would need something to hang me over until tonight seeing as though visiting venues always became an all-day thing and we would barely have time to go for lunch.
The food was good and once I was finished, Amy finished off my look by adding make-up and braiding some of my red hair and placing a black bow to secure it.
"Thanks you guys. I'm going to go brush my teeth." I told them before heading back to my room.
The first thing I noticed when I walked in was that Mason was up and coming out of the bathroom. "Morning, babe." He said, shaking his wet hair out of his face.
"Morning, Mase. Are you up to coming to the arena with me?" He seemed in a better mode than he was last night so I thought to press my luck.
He shook his head. "No, I think I'm just going to stay in. All you're doing is walking around a big empty space for so many hours then discussing things. I think I'll just watch television until you get back." I mentally sighed in relief. If Mason wasn't going with me, I could actually relax and look around the place more. I wouldn't have him all over me, trying to butt into whatever I was doing.
