"And then, I rang down a thousand blows with everything I had until-" "Until the God of Destruction defeated you yet again," Ivar cuts Zed off. "Pretty badly," Piyori adds. "It was barely even a fight," Cerberus comments. "Come on, you guys. We chipped in some damage near the end!" I say, trying to cheer everyone up.

"Well, if somebody would spend as much time training as she does singing," Zed sighs, looking back at Melodia. "La, la, la, I have no idea what you're talking about~" She sings, covering her ears. "You see?!" He exclaims, looking back at Ivar. "Uh... Uh... Another round of drinks on me!" Misedor exclaims. "I won't stop fighting... Not until I beat the God of Destruction," Zed says, clamping his fist.

"But Prince Zed! You've already been Super Reincarnated so many times!" Melodia says, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Then what's a few more?!" I challenge. Melodia steps back, and I smirk. Zed stands up, walking away as he spoke in frustration, "Every inch of me's broken and bruising... Beaten bloody cause I'm constantly losing. My rotten brain wants to run, but my scarred heart knows dying is easy, and living's the hard part."

"A king, a princess, plus a Prinny that blows up. A Prism Ranger and a witch with a glow up. We're not a lot, but we're more than a freak show!" I add. "I'll die a thousand times, but I'll do it for Bieko," he says, turning back to me. "And I'll never stop singing!" Melodia sings. "Never stop bribing!" Misedor adds. "Never stop cringing..." Majolene mutters. "Never stop vibing!" Piyori says, dancing. "Never stop fighting!" I shout.

"I'll never back down from the battleground. And I'll always come back for another round!" Zed finishes. "Well, I hope poor little Bieko has other heroes to rely on than you," he says. "What's that supposed to mean?!" Zed asks, slamming his hands on the table. "It means no rotten brain zombie has ever defeated a God of Destruction, or ever will." He takes a sip of his juice. "Well I bet I could beat a jackass Overlord like you anytime, anywhere!" I shout. "Zed, Y/N, drink your juice boxes," Cerberus says.

I roll my eyes and take a sip of the juice, as does Zed. "Ivar might have a point. Even coordinating our attacks barely left a scratch," Majolene says. This go me thinking. But we did chip in some damage that way... It wasn't the strategy, it was the lack of trust! I realize. I open my mouth to speak as Melodia stands up, place her juice box on the table. "Well, why reply on brute strength when we have something much more powerful?" She asks, walking up to Zed and reaching out towards him.

"Tossing that guy?" He asks, pointing at our Prinny friend. "No silly. Love!" She says gently. "I think your idea was better," Ivar quietly says, leaning in. "Love is like armor, tough as a shield. Love is a weapon that any can wield! Love is a mirror reflecting your light..." She sings, holding up a lantern to symbolize her lyrics. "Does love perchance help us win in a fight?" Piyori asks. "I'm getting to that." She sighs,

"Love is the reason your heart starts to thump, and all you can hear is that big ol' "BA-DUMP!" Love is our guardian angel above! That god may destroy us, but never our love!" She holds on to Zed's shoulders, and I roll my eyes. Ivar begins sobbing, and I glare at him. Her song wasn't that pretty... Although it was nice to hear. "Love is the answer; the treasure we seek! Love is pure magic- dear me, do you reek!" Cerberus rolls his eyes, and I snicker quietly.

"A zombie, a ranger, an old hag-" "Hey! "-A king~" "Dood!" The Prinny and I proclaim, being left out. "And a princess they love, and she loves to sing!" She finishes, faking out Zed with a lean in for a kiss, then turning away. "Gah! This is a waste of time!" Zed says, crossing his arms. "I concur. Are there any less stupid ideas we can try?" Cerberus states. Melodia pushes him off the chair and sits at the bar.

Misedor stands up. "Indeed! I've been thinking of our problem- all the failures and the flaws, and I've found us a solution to our woes! Though these many mortal missteps have demoralized our cause, we've a power that our foes cannot oppose..." He says. "Justice...?" Piyori asks. He takes out a bag. "Money!" Melodia and I share a glance, then laugh. It was ridiculous.
