Chapter 4

Recap:

I am only about 4 blocks from home and I have to say that the ride home today was boring because I normally have Ainsley here. As the light I am waiting at turns green, I see something out of the corner of my eye, and before I know it, blackness takes over and all I hear is the sound of a car driving away

Ainsley's POV

Where in the world is Elena? She is never late for anything. I texted her about a billion times, and I even called her house but no one was home. I tried calling Selena but she did not answer but then I remembered she said she had ice skating practice. I can't call Mason right now because he is at practice, but I need to call him later anyway because he is starting his new TV show today. Wait, isn't Elena going with him? Maybe I will shoot him a text.

After about an hour of waiting I decided just to get ready, but once I was about to walk down the stairs to leave I hear Jason yell.

"Ainsley, get down here quick. You need to see this. It is about Elena." Jason sounded upset, so I ran down stair, only to find out that...

Selena's POV

Once I finished my last jump, with a great landing I knew that I was going to be done for the day.

"Selena, sweetheart I am going to go but you stay if you want?" My coach Mindy told me.

"Ok thank you Mindy." I have been skating since I was 6 and ever since my first step on the ice at Elena's 5 birthday party I knew I wanted to skate. I wonder how Mason is making out with Elena. I knew he was going to take her on set with him. I bet she is freaking out right now. After a couple of minutes of just doing some tricks, I heard the door open and the words that left Mindy's mouth made my ear's ring and made me almost pass out.

Mason's POV

At the end of practice Coach made us run the whole field about 17 times without stop, then made us do pushups. Let's just say the reason we had to do this was because most of the people on the team are out of shape, and because it is the begging of the season.

Half way through the practice I remembered that I have to leave a couple of minutes early in order to shower and pick up Elena before going to set. Just as I was about to leave Coach comes up to me.

"Hey Mason, come here for a minute."

"Yes Coach?" I ask nervously because he looks like he is about to give some really bad news, I hope it is not about me not be captain or worse not being on the team.

Elena's POV

I wake up to the smell of pancakes and bacon being made. Just as I was about to get out of my bed my mom and this man walk through the door. I have seen this man before, it's Paul Walker. What is he doing here?

I wake up standing in this dark room. I have no idea as to where I am or what I should do, but before I could figure out a plan I see a younger version of me standing right in front of me.

"Alex, come down here dinner is ready." Someone shouts from what I believe is down stairs. Suddenly I hear myself yell

"Coming daddy." Then little me starts running out of the room and down the stairs. I follow her only find that I am in a different house then the one I used to live in. As I round the corner I see who was calling me. It was Paul. I don't remember this. I must be dreaming.

Paramedic's POV

My crew and I were called to a very bad hit and run that involves a girl, who is on the verge of dying. As we speed down the road, I couldn't help but think what if that was my daughter, what is she ever got hurt? I knew the person in this accident was not my daughter but I can't but help feeling like it is my daughter.

Once we got to the sight I could see that the car was about to catch on fire and that it has rolled more than 6 times and was still upside down. I knew that if we let this car catch on fire we are most defiantly going to lose this girl. After a couple of minutes of hitting the door off, we finally got to the girl. As we were trying to take the door off the car caught on fire, which caused us to move faster. When I finally got a good look at the girl, I could see that she happened to look a lot like Paul walker.

As we got the girl into the back of the truck we tried to help her with what she needed help with, but about 5 minutes into the drive, she started to flat line. We can't lose this girl, I won't let it happen. It has now been 6 minutes since she has flat lined and nothing has been working I have tried everything. Just as I was about to give up she came back somehow. I am not positive that this girl will make it through her surgery but at least I have a little bit of hope that she might make it.

Elena' POV

I stand in front of a grave. A grave I never through I would be at, my fathers, Paul Walker. Right when I am about to turn around and go home I see that I am not the only one here, my whole family is here. My Uncles and Aunts, and my Fast and Furious family. Then I released I am at my father's funeral, crying next to Vin, while he is telling that it is going to be ok, he is safe now. Soon I am called to go up and talk about my father but then all of a sudden I am in a different place. I am at my favorite restaurant with Paul and Vin. We are just getting a bit to eat before they have to go on set for Fast and Furious 6. We were talking all about how the movie is going to look and what the pilot is and almost everything about it. Soon Vin went to the bathroom and that left just my dad and I.

"You know I am very proud of you Alex." My dad says while picking up another one of my sesame jack chicken strips.

"Thank you dad, I love you."

Elena's mother's POV

The ride to the hospital took forever, and plus I cried the whole way there. Alex meant everything to me and now they are saying that she might not make through. I promised her father that I would take care of her and not let her go the way he did. Now what am I supposed to do?

Once I pulled up to the hospital, I park the car as fast as I can and I ran in asking for Elena since I know that is name she would be put under. They people who worked here told me to take a seat because she is in major surgery now and will be out soon. As I about to sit down I see that Selena, Ainsley and Mason are all here hugging each other and crying. This must be hard for them because they are like family. But once I see them I remembered that Elena was going to go with Mason to meet the cast of her favorite TV show. What if she never gets to watch another episode? As I was thinking in about that I was brought out of my thoughts when Selena said something to me

"Ms. Rickards, how is she? Are you ok?" That is a great question Selena, I just don't know right now.

"Yeah, I am trying to be ok. How are you guys?" I asked, already knowing the answer.

"Not good at all. Do you know how she is?" Mason asks while wiping the tears from his eyes.

"The only thing they told me was that she is in major surgery right now, and that they will let me know." After I said that Ainsley got up and walked away with tears streaming down her face. Mason got up and followed her, while Selena stayed, most likely to keep me company but I am just as bad as she is right now.

"You know she was hit by a drunk driver right? He hit her and then ran away. Why would someone do something like this?" Selena said while full on crying. While we the both cried I just thought about Paul and how he is going to think I failed of taking care of his daughter, Alex. Then I thought about her and about when was she going to be ok?
