Elisa's POV

"Wish me luck" I whisper to Nick as a lady calls to the girl in front of me. I press my hands to my hair, making sure my bangs are securely clipped. Nick wraps me in a hug, which immediately calms me down. Even with my new pair of nude heels he towers over me. I'm short but not that short. My best friend is just really tall.

"Elisa calm down. You are so ready for this, so go in there and assassinate them!" He also happens to be the biggest video game nerd on the planet. Had I not been so apprehensive I probably would have laughed. But I at least managed a weak smile. The assistant opens the door and strides into the waiting room. "Elisa Cardens," she calls. I stand up and leave all of my doubt behind as I enter the interview room. I have to be confident, efficient, organized and prepared. After all my career is on the line.

"Hello," the lone man sitting in a chair across the table glances down at a list, "Elisa". I was expecting a board of people instead of just one. But this arrangement is probably better. "I'm Simon Cowell."

"Elisa Cardens," I replied extending my hand. Then I smiled because i wasn't dumb. I knew that he was the person responsible for One Direction. I guess that's the group that I am auditioning to manage. Well, it's not exactly managing. It is kind of a cross between that and personal assistant. None the less, it is a promising enterprise. And the smile was very much real. I love One Direction and their music.

The interview went well. I handled the questions with ease and enthusiasm. Despite my well, certain hardness I guess you could call it, I really was excited. This was a chance of a lifetime. I didn't stumble at all. Even at the last question which startled me because I hadn't expected it.

"Are you sure you can handle all five of the boys, ALL the time. You do understand that you will have to travel on tour with them, be with them almost all of the time, and stay in the hotels and various locations with them. You have to make sure they are where they are supposed to be, on time, doing what they have to do. I'm not going to lie; it is an extremely strssful job that only a handful of people are up to. You are one of the few peope I am seriously comtemplating and I want to know that you are up to the challenge." Simon finished his short speech and looked to me expectingly.

"Sir, " I pausesd putting convition into my words."I am positive I can keep everything under control."
