Chapter 13: Are You Alright?

It was just one day before the big game tomorrow, as I was excited as all hell to play in it. Not that it was that I wanted the QB to get hurt what so ever, as that was simply just not the case. But it was more just the fact that I knew that it was of course, that I hoped we got a big enough lead to where I might be able to hop on the field for the 4th quarter at some point.
The odds of that were fairly slim, as I knew that we were playing another juvy team. But I could clearly tell that the team that it was that I just had to work with, if it was that I was going to be a quarter. It was going to be one that was very hard for me, as I knew that whilst Johny might be good.
He still was not nearly as good as it was that I had been when I had played. Which I felt like was not a knock on him what so ever, as I knew that I had been a top 100 talent, and I had in fact been a 4 star athlete.
I kind of just seemed to stare at the wall that was in fact in front of me for just a little bit of some time. As I was not all too sure as to just what it was that I should do. The team was bad, and I knew that I was not going to be able to get on to the field any time soon.
I was a little bit sad about it, but I also knew that I would get my chance. Even if it was that I was not a receiver such as it was that coach had told me that I would not. As I knew that deep down in me, as upset as I felt like I might be. I knew that it was that I could not play as a receiver like it was that I once was able to.
I was 6'4 now, and I was fast enough to perhaps be a quarter back. And that was probably better for me as well, if it was that I wanted to save my career. Though I also felt like I was in fact talking a little bit of some non sense to my self right now.
As I knew that it was that no scouts were going to go and look at me from a juvy school. I kind of just let out a little bit of a heavy sigh to my self, all at once, at that. As in the end, I just then did in fact seem to start to breathe in a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at once, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to stand there, and I had in fact seemed to stare at the wall that was in fact in front of me right now. That was when I just then did in fact begin to start to hear a familiar voice as it was that some one was speaking to me right now. As I just then did in fact seem to start to turn my head around, and I noticed that it just so happened to be one of Johny's friends, which was of course, Peter, all at the exact same time too, at that.
I kind of let out a little bit of a heavy sigh to my self all at once, at that. As I just then did in fact seem to start to turn my head over towards him. As I of course also did in fact have my eyes a little bit wide as it was that I just then did in fact seem to look right on over towards him, at that. As it was clear to me that it was that I was in fact paying my full attention on to just what it was that Peter did in fact feel like he even needed to say to me, all at the exact same time too, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to start to do as such a thing like that, all at once. That was when he just then did in fact seem to start to speak up, as it was clear that he was filling in the role for Johny right now. Whilst Johny was in fact going to go and do what ever it was that he was in fact even doing right now. As I of course did in fact just seem to start to begin to start to listen as to just what it was that Peter did in fact feel like he even needed to say to me right now, all at the exact same time as well.
"You just going to stand there Grant, or you going to get back to work?" He said to me, as I was a little bit upset by just what it was that he had in fact even just said to me. As I felt like I was in fact beginning to start to lose my patience with every one at this point.
As it kind of felt like I was doing all of this, and I was not getting a single thing out of it in return, all at the exact same time too. As I kind of felt like I could not help but to feel like I was about to let out a bit of some anger. On which it was that I knew that Peter was just doing his job, in which it was that Johny had in fact told him to do, never the less, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to stand there, and I had in fact just seemed to stare at him for just a little bit longer. I knew that I needed to have some more patience on all of this. As even if it was that I still was not getting my shot at football just yet. I knew that all of this was in fact all going to help me in the long run.
I kind of let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at once. As I did my best to try to keep my self as calm as I felt like I possibly could in the mean time, all at the exact same time too. As I just then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead, and I began to start to nod back to Peter.
I was not all too sure as to just how it was that I was actually able to suppress all of the anger just then. But I just some how managed to do as such a thing like that, all at the exact same time as well. Which did in fact seem to make me feel a whole lot better about that all. If it was that I was not going to lie to my self either.
As I kind of just seemed to stare at Peter right in to his eyes for just a few seconds longer, at that. As I noticed that it was that he was waiting for me to go right on ahead and do it. As I could tell he did in fact seem to have his full attention on to me right now, all at the exact same time too.
I kind of gulped a little bit heavily to my self all at once, at first. As just then in the end, I then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time as well. And I just then did in fact seem to start to speak back to Peter, at that. As I knew that it was of course, that he was in fact beginning to start to listen as to just what it was that I did in fact feel like I even needed to say to him right now, at that.
"Yeah... Sorry... Just thinking a lot right now... I'll get right back on to it..." I said to him, at that, all at once. As I kind of just seemed to see that he did in fact just seem to start to continue to squint his eyes at me. As if it was that he was in fact acting just as if he was in fact Johny right now.
Which kind of made me almost want to roll my eyes a little bit, all at the exact same time too, at that. But I kind of just seemed to stop my self from doing as such a thing like that all of the sudden, at that. As I just felt like he was right, and I needed to get rid of all of those thoughts. As I knew that he did not care about them at all, what so ever, and he was not going to go out of his way to ask me about them.
I kind of just shook my head a little bit to my self, all at once, as I just then did in fact begin to start to get my self up from the work out that it was that I had in fact even been doing long before now, at that. As I just then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead, all at once, at that. And I just then did in fact begin to start to head right on to where it was that I did in fact fear the most, besides the leg press, which I was grateful that I had in fact not had to go through that just yet.
As it was of course the treadmills, all at the exact same time too. As I saw that Thomas was on one of them, and as it was that he did in fact seem to notice that it was that I did in fact seem to draw closer to him. It was clear that he knew as to just what it was that I was doing right now, as he just then did in fact seem to start to go on ahead and nod to me, at that.
I blinked my eyes a few times, all at the exact same time too, as I kind of just ignored him for the time being. As I just then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time too, at that. And I just then did in fact seem to start to go on the treadmill that was right beside him, at that. As I just then did in fact begin to plug the thing around me, at that.
Once it was that I had in fact just seemed to start to do as such a thing like that all of the sudden, all at the exact same time too. That was when I was just about to go on ahead and begin to turn the machine on. When I just then did in fact begin to start to hear the voice of Thomas, as for some odd reason or another, it seemed like he felt like he needed to say some thing to me right now, at that.
I was a little bit lost as to just what it was that he was in fact even doing right now, at first. Until in the end, I just then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead, at that. And I just then did in fact seem to start to look right on over towards him, not all too sure as to just what it was that he did in fact feel like he even needed to say right at this very moment in time too, over towards me, never the less.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to look right on over towards him, all at once, at that. That was when in the end, I just then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time as well, at that. And I just then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead and nod right on over towards Thomas, at that. As it was clear that I was letting him know that I was in fact paying my full attention on to just what ever it was that he did in fact feel like he even needed to say to me right now, never the less.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to start to go right on ahead and do as such a thing like that, all at once. That was just when he then did in fact seem to start to continue to go right on ahead, all at once. And he just then did in fact seem to start to continue to speak to me, all at the exact same time as well, at that. As I of course did in fact seem to start to listen as to just what it was that he did in fact feel like he even needed to say to me in the very first place any ways, never the less.
"You might want to start that off slow, it's not good to go fast at the start..." He said to me, as I looked at him right in to his eyes, all at once, with a little bit of a blank look on my face, as soon as it was that he had in fact even just said as to what it was that he had even said to me, at that. As I wondered if it was that if he thought that I was some sort of idiot or some thing.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to stare at the kid right in to his eyes for just a little bit longer, all at the exact same time too. I kind of just shook my head a little bit on over towards him, all at the exact same time as well. As I just then did in fact seem to start to squint my eyes right on over towards him, all at the exact same time too.
As I could tell that he was starting to get a little bit worried, and that he was starting to get a little bit freaked out as to the fact. That it was clear that he kind of was worried that he might have done some thing. And that it was that he had in fact said some thing that was in fact wrong to me, all at the exact same time as well.
Which of course was not the case what so ever, as I was kind of amused as to just what it was that he had said. As I kind of just seemed to roll my eyes a little bit on over towards him. As it was clear that I was not trying to freak him out, as I knew that it was that he was simply just being a good friend, and that he was in fact looking out for me right now.
I kind of either which way it did in fact seem like it just wanted to be, never the less. I did in fact seem to start to go on ahead and begin to speak back to him, all at once. As I just then did in fact seem to start to calm him down, as I let him know that I was not upset with him at all right now.
As it was that he had in fact seemed to start to notice me do as such a thing like that, all at once. That was when he just then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time too, at that. And I just then did in fact seem to start to see him nod right back on over towards me. As it was clear that he was in fact letting me know that he did in fact have his full attention on to just what ever it was that I was in fact about to go right on ahead and even say to him, at that.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to start to notice him do as such a thing like that, all at once. I kind of just seemed to let out a little bit of a soft sigh to my self, all at the exact same time as well, once again. As I just then did in fact seem to start to continue to go on ahead and speak to him. As I knew that of course, he was in fact just seeming to listen as to just what it was that I did in fact feel like I even needed to say to him right now, all at the exact same time too.
"Yes Thomas... I am well aware of what I have to do... I used to work out a ton... Remember?" I said to him, as it seemed like he had forgotten as to the fact that it was that I had in fact been a star athlete on the foot ball team back at our school, never the less. Which just did not seem to make all too much sense to me what so ever.
Though I also knew that it was clear that he was simply just trying to make sure that I was in fact going to be okay, and that every thing was in fact going to be fine, all at the exact same time too, never the less. Which of course was in fact going to be the case, all at the exact same time as well.
As I kind of just seemed to stand there, and I kind of just seemed to stare for just a few more seconds, at that. As in the end, I just then did in fact begin to start to get my mind, and I then did in fact seem to start to get my focus on just what it was that I did in fact need to do to start up the tread mill, all at the exact same time too. As I just started it off as a little bit of a faster walk at first, all at the exact same time too.
As I figured that I would leave it that way for just a few minutes time, before it was that I then did in fact decide that it was that I did in fact need to switch it on over to a jog. And not all too much longer after that, all at the exact same time as well. I just then did in fact need to simply switch it on over to a slight run, all at the exact same time too, as I knew that I was in fact just simply trying to test my legs.
As it was that I had in fact just seemed to start to get my mind, and I just then did in fact seem to start to get my focus off of all of the rest of those other thoughts that it was that it felt like I had in fact kind of even been thinking on long before now, at that. As in the end, I just then did in fact seem to start to go right on ahead, all at the exact same time too, at that. And I just then did in fact seem to start to close my eyes, as I enjoyed the moment in time for just what it was that it happened to be, all at the exact same time too.
