The big CEO

It is currently 11:00am in the morning and I am stuck in this meeting that I specifically told  Junior to cancel. Of course he didn't listen.  This is supposed to be an important meeting for the company, MY company, but in all honestly I don't see how investing in smaller ones would help me at all. If anything we can invest in one big company, that's more resourceful than a small pawn shop, and earn more money. it's not like I need it anyways.

"Mr James , are you listening"  I'm pulled out of my thoughts by the investor who now looks very angry.

"No I'm not, honestly I don't see how your small little shop -"  I pause making direct eye intact with him, "can make a difference in my stocks.-" I stand and make my way towards the door, "I make more money in one meeting than you do in your whole week, so please try bigger."  I look at the investor one last time before making my way back to the office. I see junior.

"There's the  big boss mannnnn, How'd the meeting go" he says trying to put an arm around me but i push him off and enter my office.

Many people condemned me for hiring a quote on quote "child" as my assistant rather than as  a manager or a regular employee. Which i can see where it comes from, it does sound crazy for a CEO in his 20's to have a 18 year old assistant.  Believe it or not he is intelligent nd he gets the job done and fast

"Didn't I say to cancel?" i let out a stressed sigh and sat in my chair. He walks up to my desk and sits in one of the couch chairs I have in my office.

He Sits up and makes eye contact with me. "Honestly boss this is a good settlement, If you were to actually pay attention during the meetings you would see that. " he rolls his eyes leaning back in the chair and  putting his feet on my desk. I glare at him and he immediately takes his feet off.

"I dont know about that Junior-"

"give him a chance, please you wont regret it" He pleads.

I give a long frustrated sigh. "Fine junior. set the meeting for this friday at 11:00 am"

"Yesssss you wont regret it boss. Promise" He practically jumps out of the seat and runs out of the room.

Once he's out of my office I look at my desk to see the settlement papers from today's meeting at my desk. That little, He's good. I sign them and put them in my desk drawer until later.

*A few hours later*

I look at the time and it's 9:30. I should leave early. I  gather my things and call junior to have the Valet bring my car around.  As I reach the elevator I see jenny heading towards me eagerly. Here we go. I run into the elevator to escape her. The doors start to close when a long slim hand slides between them. Dammit.  Jenny comes walzing in.

"Hey Luci-"

"Mr james to you Mrs smith" I say rolling my eyes.

"I apologize Mr James, where are you headed?" she says looking at me over her glasses.

"I am going home Mrs smith" i say letting out a frustrated sigh trying to hold my composure.

"So am i, do you think you can give me a ride?" she says stepping closer. I take a step away from her.

"Mrs Smith you have a car dont you? " the elevator doors open and i walk into the lobby seeing junior. I point at Jenny with my eyes pleading for help.. He looks at me and irractically shakes his head and walks out of the lobby to the cubicles around the corner. i'll get him back for that later.

"My car is broken and it wont take long Promise, so what do you say?"

"How would Mr smith feel if he was to discover this very inappropriate behavior his wife is acting towards her boss?-"  I walk around the corner to find junior with Jenny following close behind.
