Chapter 16: What Am I To You?

'I want to be out!' Eden suddenly started shouting. She's been bugging me for the past few weeks that she wants to go out on a run. No one outside my family has seen her.

Ever since I first shifted, I have only been shifting into Eren all the time in front of other people. Whenever Eden wants to be out, I will only shift into her when I am inside the comfort of the packhouse, fearing that we will be seen by anyone and will find out about the secret.

'Eden! We are not home.' I scold her.

'But I'm itching. And isn't this supposed to be your second home?'

I am still wearing Aries' shirt and I expected this to calm Eden but not all the way. I guess she really just wants to be out.

I eventually gave up and stripped off my clothes and shifted into Eden.

'This is the best I could do for you.' I tell her and she groaned in annoyance. We suddenly heard a knock from outside my bedroom and shot a look at it.

'That's Aries.' Eren tells me. Her smell really is something else.

"Lyca?" he shouted but I didn't answer him. Should I let him see me like this? Before I could even decide, the door swung open.

I froze, he froze.

"Eden?" he walked into my room and quickly shut the door. He stared at Eden in awe. Eden is a pure white wolf, but compared to Eren, she is smaller and shorter.

"I'm still here." I tell Aries, in case he assumes that I just unknowingly shifted again. That reminds me, I should stay away from alcohol from now on. I still feel sick.

"Oh. Hey." He tells me, his gaze never leaving Eden. Hunter pushed forward as Aries' eyes turn red.

"Hunter!" Eden squealed.

'Geeze I hate that voice.' Eren sharply said.

'That's mean!' Eden complain.

'Stop it, will you?' I tell them and they both shut.

I sit back and left Eden in control, finding comfort that Aries is here.

I watch Eden as she steps towards Aries and licks his face.

'Eden! Stop it!' I stop her. Even though he can't see me, it still feels embarrassing.

'What are you embarrassed about; he's seen you naked already.' Eren retorts. I blush. She really didn't have to remind me that!

I turn away from the surface as Eden purrs at Hunter. Geeze this horny wolf.

I could feel Aries fighting Hunter for control. I press forward to see Aries' eyes flicker as they fight, and Aries won. His look on his face tells me that something was about to happen.

"Don't do that again, Eden." He tells Eden, confusing me even more. "Hunter has a very weak self-control."

Eden groans and my face flushed. Did Hunter just try to... I shake my head to try to brush all the thoughts.

"Why are you here anyway?" Aries asked Eden.

"I want to run." Eden says as lies on her stomach on the floor.

Eden, Eren and I all jolted from our position when we heard a shout, muffled cries of two children. A boy and a girl.

"Nicole!" I shouted, confusing Aries.

"What's going on?" Aries asked worried.

"I can hear Nicole and Nicolas. They are crying and afraid!" I tell Aries.
