Sleeping was a nice thing for Kat to do. The feeling of being in a lucid state was addicting. It was almost like she was whisked away to an alternate timeline, a completely different astral plane. She didn't need drugs, alcohol to get to this. It was nice. She couldn't explain why her dreams seemed to bring her to different places. Every time she slept, she would awake in a different timeline, she would always be there until she woke up. The time always varied, it could be days in her dream. When in reality it is merely just a few hours.

No matter the effect sleep had on the girl, she always found herself in a new place. It was never once the same. Admittedly that was the aspect she hated. Making a friend or more in these lucid like dreams, but never being able to go back to them or see them again. It was a shitty thing. But there was nothing she could do.

Tonight was one of those nights, she just wanted to sleep. Have no problems and just get the chance to have fun again. And that's what she did, she had gone to bed early. The problem with Kat working so much was her body was constantly tired. Maybe this was why she enjoyed sleeping so much. So she can actually rest, and to get away from anything. In Kat's mind she hoped to sleep for a longer period tonight, that's why she went to bed early. She wanted to spend as much time as she could in her lucid state.

It was strange, when she woke up she was in a forest. Normally when Kat would have these dreams and alternate timelines she would be in a house. A wave of fear washed over her body. Wandering around the forest bit by bit she kept her footsteps light, making sure not to alert anything in the area. So far it seemed abandoned, she couldn't tell if this forest was magical but just by the appearance it sure as hell looked like it. The rather tall trees were a deep shade of wine, the leaves were various colors ranging from orchid, periwinkle, glaucous blue and some shades of magenta. The atmosphere and color of the air was a soft yet dark blue shade.

The female seemed to brush her hands against the trunks of the trees, shivering slightly as she did so. It seemed like she was walking for hours, she didn't know where to go. With a heavy sigh she leaned against a tree and closed her eyes. It didn't take long before she opened them and there was a figure in front of her. It was a deer? It had the body of a deer but the antlers were shaped differently, also closing in together and wrapping up together it also had a bluish purple glow around the antlers. It bowed its head to Kat briefly before standing back up, hoping the girl would follow behind. Before she could follow the deer everything around her seemed to fade away.

Opening her eyes the female sighed, her surroundings were the ones she fell asleep to. The only difference was it was morning instead of the night she fell asleep to. With a heavy heart the female stood up and prepared for another day of repeating the same thing.
