Caught Blue Handed

Hange's POV
I'm working in my office trying to figure out why the last titan I was studying died. I was sad that he died but even more sad because I can't figure what killed it. I get pulled away from my thoughts when my door opens. I jump up and grab a weapon but relax when I see the Eren walking into my room.
"Why on earth didn't you knock?!"
"We did Hange 4 times you didn't hear us."
"Oh... Well Eren what can I do for you guys?"
"We need your help with some science stuff..."
My eyes light up. Just the thing I need to clear my head to figure out what happened to that titan. Eren explains that they need a blue dye that will activate once exposed to water but also have something or someway for it to wash out completely and easily. The last thing he added is it had to be skin safe.
"That's a challenge kiddo but I'm up for it!! What do you need it for?"
"You'll see...."
I thought there was something off with the way Eren says that but before I can question hes are out of my room. So I just assume he's going to prank one of the other cadets or is finally getting into science. I get to work on the formula. After multiple failed attempts I figured out a simple blue die and created a clear liquid that removed it. However I was covered in blue dye from failed attempts that I can't seem to get fully off. But I shrug it off because it will fade on it's own like most dyes. I bottle and label the dye and reversal agent and call out to Eren.
"Hey kiddo this works really well just don't eat it or get it in anyones eyes."
He nods and walks away with a odd grin on his face.

Levi's POV
I had just finished cleaning my room just the way I liked so I needed a shower but before I could I hear something break down in the main hall and I rush down to see what happened. Turns out Sasha had dropped a plate and it shattered.
"Clean this mess up Cadets. When I come back down here I want this room spotless."
"Yes Sir!"
And with that I head back upstairs. I wonder whether or not their actually gonna start cleaning the place up now or wait to be yelled at by me. I don't really like yelling at the problem kids but they give me no choice. In this world it's kill or be killed and they have to learn that one way or another. I get back up to my room and head to the shower. I notice something feels off about the bathroom but I ignore it and take a shower. It's not until the steam clears that I realize what's wrong. My hair is blue. I grab my shampoo bottle and inspect it and everything seems fine with it but when some water drips into it and it slowly turns blue.
"So it's water activated."
I finish drying off and get dressed then I yell for everyone to come into the main hall. Everyone seems anxious when they get their but they all seem to relax when they see me. Some even badly try to not laugh.
"Next person to laugh had to clean this whole place too to bottom."
And just like magic everyone shut up.
"Good now when I find out who did this their gonna wish they were in a field with a titan instead of with me. I think we've all seen me beat Eren up enough times to know I'm not joking. Am I clear?"
"Yes Sir!"
"Now with that said if anyone can tell me and prove to me who did this they will be chore free for one week."
The room fills with chatter and people looking in place for clues.
"Did I say I was done? I didn't think so either."
And again the room is silent.
"Now does anyone want to confess or tell me who did this."
The room remains silent. Until a familiar voice gasped and then speaks from behind me.
"Levi what's going on?"
"Hange I called a meeting and you said ok and then never showed up. Where were you?"
"Oh I remember that sorry I got distracted cleaning my lab."
"Cleaning from what Hange?"
She seems to be a bit nervous but I can't quite tell why. On a hunch I ask her one question.
"Hange let me see your hands..."
Everyone seems extremely nervous at this comment and Hanges reaction.
"Okay but Levi I swear I didn't know they were gonna use it on you."
She shows her hands are stained with blue dye. The cadets all gasp but it seems fake.
"Hange who's they...? I just wanna talk with them."
She seems to be having an argument with herself in her head. Unable to figure out what she should do in the situation. But before Hange has a chance to decide what she's going to say a cadet speaks up.
"It was us sir. We just wanted to lighten the mood a bit..."
"OF COURSE ARMIN IS THE ONE TO BREAK DOWN WHEN LEVIS MAD!"
Some random cadet I haven't bothered to pay attention to starts getting mad at Armin. I take a second to try to calm down but before I can yell I feel a hand on my shoulder and Hange whispers to me.
"I created a way to remove that dye I just don't know who has it."
I take a deep breath and try to figure out the best way to teach the kids a lesson. I decide I should just be blunt.
"Who has the reversal agent?"
I don't say it but I know whoever has it was to be part of the planners of this "prank" because they should have learned not to trust the weaker cadets that follow them like idiots sometimes. I can tell Hange is staring at someone like she's silently trying to get them to just cave in. When I see who's she's looking at I groan. I walk up to my biggest problem child, Eren, and place my hand out. He just looks at me confused. Before anyone can say anything I ever so slightly slap him.
"Now do we need a repeat of last time Eren."
He just stares at me like he's challenging me. So I slap him again a little harder. However it seems he's not going to break. But the third time I slap him... It looks like he thinks for a second and hangs his head in defeat handing me a bottle with clear liquid. I just give him a death stare.
"Everyone has extra chores for the month, however like promised Eren your doing all of Armins chores for the next week. So get to working."
They all scatter to do their chores to prevent themselves to be the next target of my annoyance. I just go back up to my room and remove the dye from my hair and a bit from my skin. Then I clean my whole bathroom twice and by the time everything is done it's late at night.

Hanges POV
After finishing cleaning up my lab and continuing my titan research I realize it's later and I gotta get to bed before Levi finds out. I head out of my lab room and into my bedroom and climb into bed. I lay my head of his chest.
"You know I really didn't know it was going to be a prank on you. I'm really sorry Levi."
"It's fine. The brats issues aren't your fault."
"However it was smart to use Sasha as a distraction don't you think Levi?"
That seems like the end of the discussion because he changes the topic.
"You really need a shower."
"Shut up..."
And I slowly drift off to sleep to the sound of Levi's breath and heartbeat.
