30: Sharing Tent

Anthony's POV:

Aria being close to me was what I wanted but I wanted more than that yesterday night.

I wanted to hug her, touch her or even kiss her but taking such steps so soon will only make her avoid me the more. The thought of her avoiding me just kept hurting me even though she apologised.

Just look at me trying all possibility that she's around me yet then I try all possibility to keep women away from me.

I thought wrong when I said women in this kingdom are useless, Aria isn't and I'll make sure she's mine all mine.

A knock on the door interrupted my thought and I answered as a maiden opened the door and entered.

"Your highness, breakfast is served at the dinning room".

"Leave, I'll be right there".

She nodded and left.

I wore my royal robe and headed straight to the dinning room, I want to see my Aria.

I got to the dinning room sat at my usual spot and stared at my large family.
Mum, Kiran and Mrs. Margaret sat at the right side of the table.
Father and grandma sat at left side of the table and I sat at the middle of the table.

"Mother your grandchild is becoming more arrogant as the day pass by. He can't even greet his elders anymore". Father complained.

"That's how he is David you can't change him". Mother defended.

"You're the only one who supports his wrong doings here, I wonder what kind of mother you're sometimes". Father replied with tints of anger.

They always do this every morning that's why I don't eat lunch with them I'm always the topic for argument.

"And what makes you say that?". Mother asked with tints of irritation.

"I've you always supported Kiran? Even when it comes to his health and educations, I've you? Mother approved maiden Aria to be his tutor but you look at her with disgust and irritation. It seems you hate that girl so much and I want to ask why?". Father asked staring at mother as she did same.

So Aria is now the topic of discussion?

"Weren't we talking about Anthony right now or you want us to talk about the preparation of Aria becoming your second wife".

Mum you're avoiding the question 😒. Anger quickly builds in as mother mentioned Aria being a second wife to father.

"Stop it Esther stop it. How many times have I told you she isn't my mistress why can't you forget the past and move on, what's wrong with you?".

"Is you that something is wrong with, I should forget and move on, if I've done that would you forget and move on?".

"And I've told you a million times that It was all planed, it was never meant to happen".

"Just shut it David you're a loser and a worst father to a nation...".

"Mother keep quite". Kiran interjected staring at mother angrily.

We were all shocked with his reply.

"What did you say?". Mother asked with shaking voice.

"Mother pls keep quite, if dad is a loser then you're also a loser. Pls stop talking, we've heard enough this morning. Lets just eat like a happy family at least today just for me". Kiran said with teary eyes.

Poor soul.

Mother couldn't utter a word as she sat down feeling insulted. The kitchen maidens entered into the dinning room and I was joyous when I saw Aria. She's looking cute this morning. I just wanna peck does full cheeks of hers.
