Hoping this was enough to change the topic but, he was determined to atleast let her spill a little, “you could try" He continued staring at her intently
“well " She was continuing and he thought it had worked until she caught the sight of the one they were speaking of, “I need to catch up with him, can you pay for me, I'll pay you later" He was gonna say something but unfortunately she was already so far away and the only company was the familiar feeling of being alone.

" Yes, it is" She had answered.
And he left, without having a word with her, woke up and left while she was lying there awake, he was well aware she had woken up, but he left.
He wished he could have stayed, but he didn't, but he truly was satisfied after his pent up frustration had been taken care of.

“we meet again, mind finishing up about what we were talking about" He said, hoping this time they could finish it, but seems like he wouldn't be able to get it done today either,
“It's not the best time, I can't bring myself to talk about him right now, but why are you asking?" She had told him and asked him, why he was so invested in it, she was his past, maybe here and there in the present too, but it was never that serious.
He had been with others after her, shortly after she had called it off between them, but her, she was invested in herself for such a long time after the breakup and the new guy who was sometimes in, sometimes out of the picture had been only with her from a few months back .
