Chapter 10 - The Plot

-Third Person's POV-

Do you know what a Kijin and Demon have in common?

Kanjis.

Kijin's alternate translation is "Oni" While "Majin" Can be translated to "demonic people", Oni also means "Demon" Despite the fact; Demon and Oni are two separate races.

But Riko knows one thing to be exact; his first impression of a demon is not that good.

「Unhand Riko, Now.」

Riko stated sternly to Kuro who's dragging her all over Konoha.

「Oh come on~ we haven't looked at the view on top of the Hokage's head yet!」

The demon associated with the color "Black" Playfully responded.

"So pushy..." Riko thought silently as they bounce here and there.

Well, even though Riko thought Kuro was very pushy and menacing, she didn't really hate skipping class.

Snacking for the whole day is more enjoyable than that.

Playing at the Arcade, playing in the park, frequently meeting the Shino-sensei who's trying to find them and ran away from him.

「Kuro-kun... Skipping class is bad, you know?」

Kamiya gave both of them a thumbs down at the end of the day.

「What, just say it if you want to join us, Phantom.」

Riko noticed one thing after a month of spending time with Kuro... It's that he has never called out other people's names except for Riko herself.

And he'll use the coo-ing "Riko-chaan~" Voice too at that.

"It's as if he thought of me as some kind of pet..." Riko finished the author's narratio- *COUGH* Riko thought to herself.

「Haha! You caught me! If you had not threatened me, I would've dragged Riko-chan myself~」

The phantom stated, throwing both hands in the air.

"Wait, you were considering that?? Rather- Kuro threaten you!?" (Riko's thoughts)

Riko opened her mouth 「Threat-」 was the only thing that came from her mouth since her attention was distracted by the Kuro, looking at Kamiya with full killing intent.

"Scary! What the-" (Riko's thoughts)

「Better watch out for your lunch for today...」

At first, came a sadistic response from him... But then,

「I'll put many Green Bell Peppers on them~」

Kuro stated thus after stopping his killing intent and now shows a happy teasing face.

"Eh?? That, was the threat? Really? Rather, they live together?? No that's not the problem but... Kamiya-san hates bell peppers huh? And that's enough to threaten him??" While thinking that, Riko looks at Kamiya with deadpan yet judging eyes.

If one were to look at her from a lower angle, one could somehow hear the word "Pathetic" being voiced out.

「Wait, No! Riko-chan, it's not like that! I swear that's not what this guy said before!!!」
