Recap:
I stand up from my seat and walk to my window before answering the phone.
"Hello." I croak.
"Jade, oh my god I was so worried. Where are you? I've been calling and texting you but you haven't answered. Plus i went to your house but you weren't there. I need to talk to you, now." Harry says.
"Harry I'm not there."
"Where are you then?" He asks.
"Well I'm definitely not in L.A." I lean against the windowsill.
"What? Where are you?"
"I'm in London Harry."
__"What?" He croaks.
"I tried to call you, and text you but you never answered. So I left."
"Oh my god. Your in London." he breaths.
"Yeah, and why would you leave me like that? I woke up by myself without a slight clue to where you were! I was worried sick about you!" I exclaim and He huffs.
"I'm sorry okay? I freaked out."
"Freaked out? Freaked out about what? Commitment?" My voice raises.
"No, god, Jade just listen." Harry begs.
"Miss. Reeb." a voice says behind me.
I turn around to see My secretary looking concerned.
"The imaginares are waiting." she tells me.
"Okay just one minute." I smile at her and she nods before stepping out.
"Jade? Harry calls.
"Harry I have to go." I sigh as I wipe my palms on my skirt.
"No! Jayden listen to me! We seriously need to talk!" he shouts at me.
"Bye Harry, I'll call you later." I hang up on him and turn to my desk.
I exhale before putting my phone in my purse and walking out of my office.
I never did call him back that day.
