Chapter 50

After getting home from school, I thought about the possibility that Vlad could be in love with me, but then laughed to myself because it couldn't be, Vlad only wants to be friends with me and nothing more. After thinking about that, I realized two things; one, if my family found out that I was friends with someone from the darkness faction and more importantly the person who has been trying to kill me, they would flip. Two, if Vlad's dad found out, I would also be in trouble, because he threatened me to never mess with his family again. This meant I must watch out with what I do when I'm around Vlad. The moment after I came to this realization, my dad came home, which scared me because I was standing in the middle of the living room floor thinking about what Vlad had told me today. "Hey Luna, what are you doing in the middle of the room?" My dad asked taking me out of my daze, once he was inside the house. "Oh nothing I was just thinking. Oh by the way I broke up with Nathan." I told my dad.

"Oh ok... wait did he brake up with you or did you break up with him?" My dad said eyeing me suspiciously.

"I broke up with him." I replied, which made my dad then say

"How come, just curious as to the reason why." 

"Well I found out that he was only doing it for his friend Kyle, because Kyle was too scared to ask me out so he had Nathan do that, and then has him see if it was w-wo-worth dating m-me!" I said and then started to cry, because it hurt so much to know that I was being used when I thought that he had actually liked me. "You got to be kidding me, I knew that boy was up to something I could tell just by looking at him." Replied my dad angrily. *Sniff* 

"You did?" I replied after I finished crying.

"Yes, but I didn't say anything because you seemed happy going out with him." my dad replied.

"Oh I see." I replied back.

"Don't worry, I'll go call his parents and inform them about what he has been up to." My dad replied and then left the room to go call Nathan's parents. After he left, I decided to then go off to my room and do my homework.

***Next day at lunch***

"Hey Luna, I noticed that both Nathan and Kyle are extra mad today." Elizabeth commented to me as she sat down at our lunch table. "Yeah I know, it's because yesterday after school when my dad got home; I told him that I broke up with Nathan and the reason why, which then made him very furious. So he called Nathan's parents after he was done talking to me." I replied back.

Dang, that's one thing I love about your dad Luna, is the fact that he doesn't care for such nonsense, and the fact that you're his special girl, and would protect you no matter what happens." replied Chrissie.

"Yeah." All of my other friends agreed. Right after they said this, Vlad along with James, came and plopped down in a seat at our table, causing me and all of my friends to give both of them weird looks. "Uh what are you two doing here?" Chrissie replied in a sassy demanding tone.

"Uh sitting, it's a free country we can sit where ever we want." James replied back with about the same amount of sass toward Chrissie, who squinted her eyes at him. "Chill you two, Luna is it ok for us to sit here?" Vlad replied politely to me.

"Uh hold on a moment." I replied.

"Sure." Vlad replied still being polite as I had my friends form a mini circle at the table to discuss if we should let Vlad and James sit at our table. "So what do you think we should do?" I whispered to my friends.

"I don't know it seems like their up to something." Elizabeth replied.

"Yeah I agree." Replied Roxanne.
