After the events that took place in Y/N's car and outside of her house, Joe and Y/N have never been better. For the time that she was home for Y/N moved her stuff into Joe's place because he wanted her to live him while she was home. He claimed it was because he wanted to see her every day but that was going to happen anyway if the two of them just stayed friends—in reality— he just wanted to fall asleep beside her holding her in his arms and wake up with her every day.
When Y/N did wake up one morning Joe wasn't beside her so she rubbed her eyes and put on a zip up hoodie and made her way downstairs where she could see Joe sitting on the couch playing his guitar and singing to himself, Y/N found it cute. She slowly walked up behind him and quickly placed a kiss on his cheek which made him jump causing Y/N to laugh loudly, he put his guitar down and grabbed her hand leading her round the couch and pulling her onto his lap.
"You know it's not nice to sneak up on people." He told her
"I just couldn't help myself." She told him as her hands went around the back of his neck and played with the ends of his hair, when Y/N looked towards the coffee table that was in front of them both she had a look what Joe was working on and she read through it before placing the sheets of paper back down, she kissed his lips quickly before heading to the kitchen to make herself some food.
"What are you doing?" He asked her
"Making myself some food, want some?" She asked him
"Yeah." He said as she looked at him
"Tough." She smirked as she turned back around towards the fridge, suddenly she felt her boyfriend's arm go around her waist lifting her up and spinning her around making her scream a little but it soon faded into laughter. When she turned around to face Joe her hands went back around his neck an his stayed around her waist, he kissed her lovingly and she smiled.
"You know I thought making you my girlfriend would make you nicer." He told her and Y/N held her chest pretending to be offended by the comment
"Well that's a shame because I'm not going to change." She shrugged
"Good because I don't want you too." He said as he kisses her cheek, Y/N's phone started to ring and when she picked it up she saw that it was Nate phoning her, Joe was stood behind her still holding her close to him
'Hey Y/N, I've moved all my stuff out of the flat, I think it's just Faye and Chris who are still there so I'm going back to my parents place.' He said and Joe heard everything
"Okay cool, I already packed up and left last week so I'm back home. Have a nice summer Nate I'll see you when I'm back." She said before hanging up
"Since when did you live Nate?" Joe asked curiously
"We lived together for a little while along with Faye and then she moved Chris in, it just worked out a whole lot cheaper for us all if we shared." She told him and he nodded his head. "So what are we going to do today?"
"I was thinking that we should go for a drive, maybe go swimming at the lake and take a walk, what do you think?" Joe asked as he leaned against the counter with Y/N facing him
"Sounds amazing." She smiled as she played with his fingers in her hands "I love you." She said with a smile
"I love you too." Joe said as he pulled Y/N close and hugged her while placing a kiss on the top of her head.
