Marilyn Manson (Brian Warner) was born in January of 1969. In 2006, when he was 37 years old, he met Evan Rachel Wood who was 18 years old at the time. The pair worked on a project together and Evan quickly fell in love. They started dating in 2006 and went public a year later in 2007. Emotional abuse from Brian almost immediately started.
Evan was featured in Brian's music video for "Heart Shaped Glasses". In this music video there was a sex scene that was supposed to be faked, but Evan alleges that he penetrated her on camera without her consent. That scene is present in the final cut of the music video and it can be easily found online. There is a petition to get it removed that I will link in the comments.
The abuse that Evan faced didn't become physical until Warner took her on tour with him. Evan claims a crew member saw her being abused, but just shook his head and closed the door.
Evan was able to escape Brian with the help of her aunt, but he was relentless in getting her back. He called her 158 times and everytime she didn't pick up, he cut himself. Warner bragged about this in a 2009 interview. In the same interview he talks about how he wants to beat Evan with a sledgehammer.

Unfortunately for Evan, Warner was able to manipulate her back into being in a relationship with him shortly after they split. However, in 2011 Evan would leave Brian for good when she finished filming a movie, and never went back to where she and Warner were living.
After she left Warner, she became an activist for abuse survivors and helped pushed the Phoenix Act which changed the legal statute of limitations from 3 years to 10 years. Evan did name her abuser until ten years after she left him, in 2021. Since Evan opened up about her abuse many people have come forward about their own stories of abuse by Warner. Brian's ex's have stated that they were never abused by him, but they believe Evan and stand with her. Evans's statement is below.

In 2022, while the Depp v. Heard trial was the talk of the town, Warner announced his own defamation lawsuit against Evan Rachel Wood.

I have not described the abuse in detail as this is the short summary, but I will in the following chapters. This is the basic overview of what is occurring and the absolute hell Brian Warner has put Evan through and continues to put her through. Evan Rachel Wood has released a documentary called Phoenix Rising about her experience getting the Phoenix Act passed and about her abusive relationship with Warner.
