1985-1986 : The Magic Years

Starting from where the first film ended. Queen celebrate their massive success at live aid and party through the night, thats when reality kicks in . Freddie has to tell Jim. He sits Jim's down in the living room of garden lodge and simply says
F-"I've got aids, I understand that you want to leave me but I want to let you know I will always love you my dear."
Jim refuses to believe this and doesn't care if Freddie has got it or not and says to Freddie
J-"Freddie, im not going to leave you , not until the day I die..I will always love you Fred."
After that Jim and Fred cuddle up on the sofa and Delilah cuddle in between them meowing.
Freddie breaks the silence and announces,
F-"Jim promise me we will never speak about this again"
J-"I promise Freddie"

The next day they both wake up to banging on Freddie's door. Fred throws a robe around him and a blanket over Jim. Freddie then dashes to the door and is attacked by Mary.
F-" Hello gorgeous"
M-"Hello Freddie"
Fred welcomes her into the living room while Jim makes his way to get dressed.
F-"Mary my dear, you need to know something-"
M-"I know, I have known for a while."
F-"Has it really been that obvious" Freddie sags looking desperate for an answer .
M-"I found blood all over the tissues in your bin when I was last using it, and with Paul , I knew it was bound to happen"
Freddie sits in silence, reality hitting him once again that how hard it will be to hide this from the world.Jim interrupts these thoughts though as he hands Freddie and Mary a cup of tea.
J-"Thought you'd need to waken up"
F-"Thank you dear" Freddie says as he relaxes on Jim's shoulder.
M-"How are you Jim?"
J-"Good, what about your self Mary?"
M-"Well this little one has been kicking me all day but apart from that not too bad" she says as she rubs her tummy.

Mary leaves soon after finishing her tea and Jim does too as he needs to move some stuff into garden lodge. He kisses Freddie good bye.

Skipping a few days, Freddie is in the middle of writing a song as he makes up a beat for it ; then the phone rings.
F-"Hello, Garden Lodge, Freddie speaking"
B-"Hey Fred, how are you"
F-"Oh Brian, im doing wonderful how are you dear?"
R-"He's doing shit" - you can hear roger and John giggling like kids.
F-"Deaky , rog! What are you all doing without me?"
Roger snatches the phone of Brian
R-"If you where to come out to the studio you'd see"
F-"Oh Rog , what if someone sees me"
R-"Fred , no one can tell dont worry"
D-"Just het down here Fred before Brian kills us"
F-"Alright alright im in my way now"
R-"Thank fuck" - Freddie hangs up the phone
He splashes his face with water before he heads out.
J-"Where you going love?"
F-"The band need me you want to come"
J-"Gotta finish this garden"
F-"Alright dear i love you"
J-"I love you too Fred"
Freddie jumps in the back seat of his car and drives to the studio. He jumps out and all he hears is shouting. As he walks through the front door he sees roger on top of the amp screaming at Brian while John is downing shots.
F-"Alright calm down , deaky at this time?"
John ignores him as Roger and Brian carry on
R-"Last time we did one it went to shit, there was only one song that did well, its a waste of money"
B-"But this one is different Roger we have more liberty"
Freddie walks in between them and drags roger off the amp.
F-"What is wrong now?"
R-"Brain wants to sign a deal for a anew movie, he wants us to do the sound track for it"
B-"Whats the movie called"
"Highlander, it's got potential Freddie , they are letting us do whatever we want"
Freddie ponders , thinking of what to do.
D-"I say we got for it, we need a new album anyways"
F-"Deakys got a point rog, and as Brian days we have more liberty than flash"
R-"Fine then,  anyone actually got any ideas what the songs will be?"
F-"Well I was working on something this morning"
D-"Whats it called Fred?"
F-"Im not too sure yet but I have the tune for it and the first verse"
Freddie then starts to sing and play the first verse of 'Princes Of The Universe'
R-"Now I like the sound of that"
F-"How about you say we take a few days off to write and then come back uh?"
D-"Im happy with that"
About a week passes, john and Brian are waiting for Freddie and Roger
F-"Sorry im late my darlings what have I- where the fuck is roger"
Brain hands Freddie a letter
B-"That'll explain"
F-"Hes in Spain?"
D-"Hes left lyrics for a song"
F-"Give me them over deaky dear"
John walks over to Freddie visibly irritated
F-"One Vision? ( Freddie takes a second to read the first verse) its shit!"
B-"I was thinking if changing the lyrics Fred"
F- "let me take it home and I'll sort it out, what about you deaky?"
D-"Nothing for once, only lyric changes for that thing"
F-"Well thats what we will work on, Brian?"
B-"I got an oprea song in mind, but we would need an whole orchestra."
F-" I love it"
After that a montage follows with a kind of magic playing in the background ( similar to the 'seven seas of rye'  scene in the first movie) . This gets interrupted by Roger bursting through the door.
R-"Come on lets start working"
B-"Look who finally showed up"
F-"What the fuck did you do to your hair?"
R-"Its my new style."
D-"Just get on the drums and play" John says this as he takes a drink of whisky before he stands.
R-"Alright alright hows my song"
B-"About that, we changed some things" Brian hands roger the new lyrics for 'One Vision'.
R-"Its a bloody brand new song"
D-"Not our fault your a shitty writer"
R-"Whats got into you deaky?"
F-"Leave the poor man alone rog, he's not wrong."
R-"Will you atleast tell me the name of the album."
B-"We actually don't know yet"
R-"Whats the single?"
D-"A Kind Of Magic"
R-"There you go"
F-"Actually not a bad idea Roger."
B-"We still need the drum tracks done"
R-" On it"
F-"Right well should we go for a few pints"
D-"Please Fred"
R-"Im actually in the need-"
B-"Not until you finish them drums"
They all leave giggling while roger is sitting there playing with the drums.

You hear the sound off one vision slow ling get louder. This then turns into Queen playing at Wembley. After a few songs are played (One Vision,Don't stop me now, Ay-Oh, Who wants to live forever and then God save the queen)

R-"THAT WAS BLOODY BRILLIANT! Lets go for a few pints"
Brian and John agrees and they walk away gossiping about the concert.
B-"You coming Fred?"
F-"No no, You three go ahead I need to rest"
R-" You alright Fred?"
F-" Yes yes im fine go have fun if you need me, I'll be with Jim"
D-" Fred, do you want us to come with you?l
F-"Don't be stupid dear-"
R-" I want to see how Jim is lets go"
F-"Boys i really don't want to- "
B-" No no I need to see Oscar and Delilah"
They all walk off out of the stadium into their cars to head to Freddie's house.
