Hayden Nightingale did things normal teenagers did. She ate ice cream when she was sad, procrastinated on doing her homework, and spent a decent amount of time on her phone. But, she didn't exactly have the life of a normal teenager. Her father was in prison and one of the most feared villains in Swellview. Her dad definitely wasn't the greatest, but she still loved him and wanted to see him out of that cell. So, when he tells her the plan he has to escape, she agrees.
The plan was for her to fake date Henry Hart, an attractive teen that her father suspected to be Kid Danger. She needed to get close to him. Learn things about him. She had to make him trust her. While she proved that he was in fact the sidekick to Swellview's superhero, her dad figured out how to get out of prison.
Everything was going as planned. She was getting information off of him and learning new things about him. She had even learned that when he's needed for a mission, his watch beeps three times. She was ready to tell her father everything, and wreak havoc on the superhero duo. But she couldn't do it. She had grown quite close to Henry Hart, and suddenly hated the idea of seeing him, his friends, or his family hurt. So she lied. She told her father that she hadn't learned anything new, then cut him off completely. She no longer had any communication with him. It was going fine. She was sure there was no way her father would actually escape. But then he was accidently released, and she knew there was no way to escape Drex.
