Renesmees P.O.V:
It was an extremely restless night. My room was exceptionally hot, making my night clothes extremely uncomfortable, so I changed into some of my day clothes, and headed out to the kitchen. I haven't eaten since lunch yesterday. There was a letter on the table, it was adressed to Mr. And Mrs. Cullen, my parents. It was from someone named Mike Newton. "Ma-omm! Mail!" I yelled like a child would. She was there in an instant. "Morning sweetie! How did you sleep?" She asked. "Better then you did." I replied. She laughed. "So, what's this mail about?" She asked trying to recover herself. I shrugged "I dunno, didn't read it. Something from someone named Mike Newton- and oh, hey look! It's from Forks High school!" She sighed. "Oh, Mike. Angela. Jess. I was thinking about them just the other day, I wonder how they are-" I stopped her. "whoah whoah wait, who are these people?" I asked cluelessy. "Oh, they were my friends from high school. Mike was one of my few friends, next to Jacob and your father. Jake and Mike helped me when your father-...Er...left. But anyways, how about we see what this is about? Maybe you can come in place of your father." And with that, dad was here wrapping one arm around mom's torso. He kissed her hair. "What are we talking about? What in place of me?" He smirked sheepishly. "Oh, looks to be a class reunion invitation from Mike Newton. Remember him?" Mom said, raising one eyebrow at dad. "How I hated his thoughts about you!" He shook his head. "Too bad you're all mine now." He said hugging her fully from the back. "Should we go? It would be the polite thing to do..." She said. He gasped. "Fine, but you guys are staying by me, at all times. They're not my crowd." Mom had worry across her face. "What are we going to say about Renesmee? She is a seven year old trapped inside a 17, or 18 year olds body!" Dad thought for a second. "We'll tell them she's our daughter." I rolled my eyes, "Haha, real funny, Dad." He shrugged. "We can look suprisingly awesome for our age to have an 17 year old daughter, can't we?" Dad said, Mom still had worry on her face. "The last time we saw them was 7 years ago, Jess thought I was pregnant, but even if I was, it still wouldn't be right. Good thing you're kind of short for your age." I laughed. "Haha, my age is 7, I'm just extra intelligent for my age." My mom gave me a passionate look. She pulled me in for a hug. "Oh, my sweet baby. You've been intelligent since the day I met you. I just wish I still had my little girl." I felt sorry for her. She could never have another little baby. But I could. I may look old, but I had like a kid that looked like he was 26 as a boyfriend. I thought about it, and it seemed weird to me. But, love has no height, weight, or age. "I guess I'm short for an 18 year old looking girl." I giggled. "We said 17, not 18. Don't rush it." Dad said. He was missing me too. I sighed. "So, are we going to this thing? We'll just tell them what we told grandpa Charlie and Grandma Renee'. That I'm adopted." Mom shook her head. "Bella, love, what's wrong? That's what we told everyone else?" Dad asked worried. "I don't know if this sounds selfish or not, but I want people to know that she's our daughter, and that she came out of me." He smiled. "Darling, I want that too. But the questions, and the concerns and everyone's theories, they won't be able to connect the dots, and once they do, we would have to leave, and all our friends would be killed." Mom took a deep breath (like she needed it.) "I know, I know. I knew it sounded selfish." Dad laughed. "Well I guess we're both selfish." I rolled my eyes. "Okay, so I'm your brothers kid that you adopted because my real parents died, right?" "Right. Bella, love? Is that okay with you?" She nodded. "I think so. She's still our daughter, and at least I know she came out of me." Dad laughed. "Okay, so when is this reunion thing?" He said half heartedly. "Next Saturday." Mom said with the same enthusiasm. "I guess it'll be good though, just have to make sure we go on a full stomach. We won't have to want to be burning our throats. You too Ness." She continued. "I can survive on either animal blood or human food. I just have to make sure Jake didn't have any plans for me on Saturday." Mom nodded and walked to the main house as I called Jake. It was strange because normally he picked up after the first ring. Was he still considering breaking up for my safety? Or was he mad about it? I didn't know, and I didn't have time to figure out. I needed to see Jake, to see if he was ok.
I ran to the main house to ask mom if I could take one of the cars to the Res. "Yes honey, do what you need to. But be careful. Take my Volvo, that way they won't think it's anyone breaking the treaty." I nodded at her response and practically sped out the door. I would pay for that later with grandma Esme, but that didn't matter at the moment. I got in the car and was on my way. I got there in short time. I knocked slowly 3 times but got cut off on the second knock. "Hello Renesmee, always a pleasure." Said Billy Black. He seemed to be getting a lot older, and more crippled. "Hi Billy, is Jake home by any chance?" I said, he paused for a moment. "...yes, he's right in the living room. Go on ahead inside." I walked into the living room and saw Jake, laying on the couch, eyes red from what seemed to be from tears. "I'll just leave you two alone." Billy said slowly wheeling out on his wheelchair into the kitchen. "Jake....what's wrong? Why didn't you answer the phone when I called?" He shook his head. "Ness, I'm sorry. I thought that when you called, it meant that you had already made up your mind that you want a boyfriend that won't get you into trouble with the volturi, and I let it get to my head. I'm sorry." I shook my head. "Aww, baby don't cry. I am going to stay with you and love you forever. I know times are tough right now, and the volturi don't give us much of a choice here, but I know I am making the right choice here as long as you're with me." He hugged me tightly and I kissed him with a hard passion . "It will be ok. We're strong." I said in a whisper.
Jake came to the house with me, we just figured it would be quieter here without Billy yelling at the TV as he was watching baseball with a beer bottle in hand. Jake was all cleared up now. "So... you didn't have anything planned Saturday for us right?" I said with innocent question on my face. Jake thought. "No but that could be arranged..." I grinned. "As tempting as that sounds, I was just making sure because mom, dad, and I are going to their high school reunion. I volunteered to go so..." Jake looked discouraged. "Oh. Well we could always make plans some other time." I yawned. "I'm so overwhelmed lately. With the Volturi and their decision making, and finally being able to go to high school, and now this reunion...It's so much." He looked concerned, then he looked thoughtful. "You don't exactly have to go to this reunion, you know." I shook my head. "I know, but it made them happy. I just don't want to disappoint them." He grinned. "You could never disappoint them. Bella is more alive then she's ever been before. Edward, he's happier then I've ever seen. And you, you're perfect. I love you. You'll never disappoint me either." I teared up a little. "I love you too, Jake. Sorry for being so emotional lately. You really make me look like I'm all innocent and sweet, but I'm half vampire you know." I said wiping away my tear that I couldn't help but let fall. He smiled and caressed my cheek. "So much emotion today, isn't there?" I nodded. "Perhaps we're just overtired and just need a nap." He nodded with a big sigh of relief. We walked into my room, and laid on my bed making silly pointless conversation for awhile, and finally took a long afternoon nap.
