It was now the defendant aka y/n's attorney's turn to speak.

"Your Honor, to be honest, my client is the one who did all the work so I'm going to let her speak for herself."

"What the..? Your honor-!"

"I don't see a problem. I've heard a lot about the l/n family and certainly a lot about you y/n. So go on."

I smirked as I looked over at Hawks and his team.

I'm going to destroy them.

"Well, your honor. Let's look at the 'evidence' that the police found.

I look similar to the suspect.

Have a similair quirk.

Have no alibi.

"But your honor, don't you think the police arested me without enough evidence?"

The judge looked intrigued and kept listening.

"First of all, I can actually debunk the whole quirk thing because I can't remove the metal that grows out of my skin. Once it's deactivated, the metal goes back into my body like this. You can ask anyone who's ever seen me use my quirk. Please let me demonstrate."

I look at the judge and he ordered the guard closest to me to remove my quirk-stopping cuffs. When he was done I made a pole come out of my hand and then back into it. He put the cuffs back on and I continued.

Of course, it was a lie, but since that was the first time my quirk did that, there was no way of proving me wrong.

"Second off all, there is no proof that the person seen with the villain Tomura Shigaraki was an accomplice. What if it was actually a captive?"

"What makes you think that?"

The judge questioned.

"Well if you look at the footage of Tomura Shigaraki and his captive you can see he has 4 fingers around her wrist and he's obviously pulling her. She's also looking down which is pretty odd if she really was a villain. Furthermore, this woman had never been seen with the League of Villians.

So I think the police shouldn't be looking for an accomplice but for an innocent captive. But for some reason, the police were oh so busy obsessing over me that they didn't investigate thoroughly.

Maybe it's because a certain hero thought he was smarter than actual detectives and police officers and made one assumption and rolled with it."

I looked over at Hawks to see a priceless expression on his face. It went from shocked to angry really quickly.

Everything I did until now to make me more suspicious was to make Hawks completely sure that it was me without providing any real evidence. Since he was the number 3 hero everyone did what he told them to so no one questioned him and he couldn't doubt his actions.

The trial continued but this time my attorney was in charge of the talking. I knew I was going to win and show Tomura that I was safe.

Now that I think about it I still have not decided what to say to Tomura. Do I want to stay with him or not?

I kept thinking about this until the trail was almost finished. The two parties were summarizing their points and it was nearly time for the judge to choose the outcome.

It was a heated battle but it had finally come to an end.

"Y/n l/n, the jury has found you... Not guilty of any charges, the opposing party will also compensate for all your expenses on this case."
