"Are you doing any better?" Diluc softly asks, his face presses gently against her skin.
She lightly hums in a positive manner. She digs herself deeper into Diluc's warmth, not wanting him to let her go yet.
"Do you want to talk about what you saw?" he gently whispers.
(Y/n)'s darkened eyes look away sadly, unsure if she should reveal such things, such horrible things, to a kind man like Diluc.
"Maybe another time," she quietly responds.
"Alright, but always know that I'm always willing to listen to what you have to say to me, my dear."
A soft warmth fills her face, a wonderful and mystical warmth.
"Thank you, Mister Diluc."
"Of course," he simply responds, a smile gracing his lips, "Now, is there anything you want to do? I told you that I'll be having this week a bit easier than most and that I cancelled all plans today."
"You did, didn't you?" she says, her voice sounding quite distant.
"Yes, I did. So, what would you like to do today?"
"I can choose anything?"
"Anything."
"Can I learn to be a maid?"
Diluc tilts his head slightly, looking with a confused look.
"Now why would you want that on our day off?" he coos.
"Well, I'm feeling much better now," (Y/n) says honestly, "and I might as well learn quickly so I can pay off my debt."
Diluc quietly hums in thought before letting out an amused sigh.
"Alright," he says with his head tilting to the other side, "Let's go talk with Adelinde."
"Adelinde? The lady who helped me?"
Diluc gives a small smile.
"Yes, her. She's the head maid here, and she can teach you."
"Alright," she says.
Diluc stands up, letting the bones snap back into place along his toned back and legs. A slightly upset purr escapes (Y/n)'s throat, not wanting to leave the protective warmth of Diluc's embrace. Diluc chuckles warmly, a deep hearty chuckle, something that can only exist at the bottom of one's stomach.
(Y/n) sighs before standing up with him, stretching her back, listening to the satisfying pops of her bones. She lets out a quiet yawn before shaking away the sleep that still clings to her body like a hefty cloud.

Heading down the stairs, Diluc notices the rushing around of the maids, starting their duties for the mid day. Hillie and Moco heading out the doors while Elzer and Adelinde get to work in the lobby. Several others busy themselves, almost becoming invisible to the eye as they work so quietly.
"Adelinde!" Diluc calls out from the stairs, drawing the maid's attention.
"Yes, Master Diluc?"
"I have a request for you."
"Anything, Master Diluc."
Diluc gestures to (Y/n) who shyly looks away, fiddling with her hands.
"I would like you to start teaching (Y/n) to be a maid. Just the basics will do."
"I see," Adelinde looks at the girl, her memories of berating her yesterday still fresh in her mind.
Adelinde turns to (Y/n) and formally bows.
"Let me formally introduce myself; I am Adelinde, head maid of the Dawn Winery Manor."
"Hello, Adelinde," (Y/n) says, letting a bit of her accent slip, "I am... (Y/n)... a simple woman of simple origins."
Adelinde hums. She seems to have some sort of manners, though they need to be heavily refined.
Adelinde turns back to Diluc, bowing her head.
"Breakfast unfortunately is no longer, Master Diluc, as you were later than normal. But not to worry, brunch will be served instead."
(Y/n)'s body suddenly feels cold. It was her fault for stalling him so long. Stalling him with something as meaningless as a fake monster at the end of her bed, a boogeyman that should only scare a child.
"That's fine. (Y/n), shall we?"
Said woman shakes her head. She bows quickly, placing her hands together against her stomach.
"I'm sorry... I should not. I stalled you long enough. I should get to learning instead. Have a good meal, Mister Diluc."
"Master Diluc," Adelinde whispers into her ear.
"Ah! Master Diluc."
Diluc lets out a soft chuckle from the back of his throat. In his mind, there's no need for her to call him that. There's actually no reason to even all him 'Mister' Diluc; Diluc would just be fine, wonderful in fact. Maybe even another name of endearment, like ones he calls her.
Dear? That one would sound nice on her tongue. Süß (Süsse) is also nice, something sugary on the lips. Darling? Maybe a bit intimate, but still just as nice. Schatz? His heart might burst at the sound.
With out realizing it, Diluc was a blushing mess as he sat at his table, a wobbly smile upon his lips as his cheek rests against his fist. He didn't even realize that a meal had been placed upon his plate, he was just so lost in thought at the concept of a name of endearment meant just for him.
A name just for him. What a nice thought.
Süße / Süßer or Süsse / Süsser mean "Sweet"
Schatz mean "Treasure"
