Persephone Hestia Jackson

the beginning

Percy Jackson was a young boy who was heavily beaten by his stepfather, smelly Gabe. Percy didn't understand why he was beaten so bad that he was currently in a ball praying for anyone to hear. Little did he know that he caught the ear of not one but two goddesses.
"I didn't expect you to be here Artemis" one of them says
"If you must know aunt Hestia I was answering a prayer from a maiden but said maiden was obscured by my view until she prayed" the who name is Artemis answered
"You boy what did you do with the maiden" Artemis snaps at the small 9 year old
"I didn't do anything miss" said percy in fear
"Like I buy that you filthy male" Artemis response
Percy not understanding just cowers deeper in the corner
"Hello little one" Hestia say soothingly
"Are you OK" she questions
"No I'm beaten every day and I hate how my stepfather beats me harder when I say I don't like who I am" he says miserably
"Why don't you like who you are" questions Artemis
"Because I try and be like mommy he says that he needs to beat it out of me" percy says miserably
"Why do you want to emulate your mother child" Artemis fumes "she is better than any sorry male"
"I know that" replies percy "I don't want to be a boy" he reveals sobbing
Artemis hugs the now revealed maiden and comforts the child "it's OK to want to be a maiden you know" she says
"But what about my step-dad he would kill my for being a freak" percy says miserably
'Poor child' thought both goddesses
"What is your name child" Hestia asks
"Persius but I go by Percy because it's less masculine" the child replies
"That won't do at all" Artemis says "you need your own name"
"I always liked the name Persephone and I would want my middle name to be Hestia because I want something to give me hope" he admits
Hestia giggles "that is a wonderful name Persephone"
Artemis asks for a moment with Hestia
"Hestia I want to help this child be the woman that she wants to be" Artemis says
"I was thinking the same thing Artemis" Hestia admits
"You realize that this is the child of the prophecy a child of the sea" hestia questions
"Yes but I can't ignore a maiden so distraught" Artemis says
"We can give her our blessings to help in the future if you are agreeable" Hestia says
"Yes and I can give her a silver trident necklace that has been blessed to give her the proper puberty when the time comes" Artemis replies
"Very well let's do it" Hestia says
When they return to the child they see her more calm
"Persephone we have decided that we will bless you and give you a gift" Artemis says soothingly
Persephone's eyes light up with joy in the name
"First we would give you our blessings you will find hope at the hearth and a couple of other things that you will understand in time" Hestia says
"You will understand my blessing in time but for now I give you this necklace as a token of our support for you young one" Artemis says putting the necklace on the child
"We must go now young Persephone you are very brave" Artemis says while the two leave
[time skip]
Percy has all but forgotten about that night 3 years ago; the only reminder is a delicate silver necklace with a trident on it. Everyone makes fun of him for it but he doesn't care because it is feminine.
He is currently on the bus going to the museum with his best and only friend Grover who as weird as it sounds doesn't feel like the other kids and he's not the only one there is also Mr Brunner.
When they got to the museum there were a lot of old Greek stuff that always fascinated him. After answering some questions about Kronos eating his kids the started yo head outside.
"Mr Jackson a word please" called Brunner
Percy flinched at the Mr "what's up Mr Brunner" he asks
"Are you OK Mr Jackson" Brunner asks at the flinch
Percy once again flinches at the Mr "yeah I'm just dealing with some things" percy replies
"Are you sure child" he asks again
"No but I be OK eventually sir" Percy says
"Very well please think about how these stories relate to your life ok" he says
"Sure thing Mr Brunner" percy says
"OH and Percy" I look at him "my door is always open if you need to talk also I find best friends also have a good listening ear" Mr Brunner says
"Thanks for the advice sir" percy replies
(Outside percy pov)
"Hey Grover" I say as I walk out
"Hey are you OK man you seem tense" he asks
"Yeah I'm fine just dealing with the usual stuff" I say depressed
"Did you get detention" he questioned
"Nah man just thinking" I reply
"Well don't hurt yourself" he says trying to cheer me up
"Uh huh" I reply
"Percy what's wrong" he asks concerned
Before I can talk Nancy comes over and spilled her lunch on Grover. I got annoyed and somehow she ended up in the fountain
That's when Mrs Dodds pulled me into the museum and transformed into a bat like creature
After asking me about something stolen and getting a sword from Brunner I killed her and decided to go back Outside where I returned the pen to Mr Brunner, I thought it was a sword but oh well, we finish the trip and only I know about Mrs Dodds but I suspect that Brunner and Grover also know
During the school year my chest started to hurt a bit and my pants don't fit like they should by the end of the year. I decided to go and ask about a problems I'm having in a subject but it turns out to be eavesdropping and finding out that they did know about Mrs Dodds.
On the bus home I decided to actually talk to Grover.
"Hey Grover what is your thoughts on the LGBT" I ask scared of his answer
"Honesty I have no problem with them are you OK that question was out of the blue" he asks
"I'm fine I'm just curious" I reply while trying to keep my shirt off my chest
"Hey man you OK you keep holding your shirt out" he questions
"Yeah I'm fine just extremely sore chest" I reply
"OK you know that you can tell me anything right" he questions
"Yeah I know" I reply
After that three old ladies snip a yarn and Grover freak out about it. I then head home and give Gabe the rest of my money and go to my room where I take off my shirt and see that it is a little puffy which confuses me. Then my mom walks in and notices the puffiness.
"Percy what's wrong with your chest" she questions
"I don't know it started while at school also my pants aren't fitting properly either they are too tight on my hips" I respond
"OK so how was school" she asks while I'm trying to put my shirt back on
"It was fine" I said
After that we decided to go to montok. In the middle of the night Grover shows up without pants and we head for a camp that is until my mom is killed by the minotaur and I pass out
