or in whichYou learn something new from Alphys and end up embarrassing yourself at Grillby's.

"S-so you...m-met a ta-talking s-skeleton..you said?" Alphys seemed to be both a bit nervous and amused.
You shifted closer to her, bringing your hand up to cup the side of your mouth to whisper. Currently, the two of you were hiding behind one of the bookcases, away from any prying ears. You had to admit, you did feel a bit bad having to sharply drag Alphys away like an alleyway killer but, this was urgent.
"..yeah! I didn't even know he was alive! When I was there, he just pretended to be one of the props." You recalled back to your exploration in the store, you had literally dragged and poraded your hand on the skeletons. And honestly you probably had touched him by accident. To think about that was, god, both haunting and embarrassing.
It didn't take much of an explanation from Alphys, just a, "Yep, de-definitely a m-monster."
"Well, at least I now know there's living skeletons out there too. I wonder if they all like bone puns...?" Although you may have been a bit surprised at first, this really intrigued you. You were getting to see more monsters and learn more about them. And you knew for sure if you were ever to see that skeleton again, you would apologize and maybe even get to know him.
In a very natural and not totally awkward or embarrassing way, of course.
Though..
"Man, this really affects my decorating plans..." You purse your lips, a little disappointed.
It had been a bit since you've heard anything from Alphys, so you looked over at her expression. For some reason, you couldn't quite tell what she was thinking, which was normally really easy for you. There seemed to be a bead of sweat forming on her yellow scales.
You couldn't help but be slightly concerned. "Is something wrong, Alphys?"
She sharply snapped out of her trance and started to frantically wave her hands at you. "O-oh! N-nothing's wrong!! I-I just...uh."
She lowered her head, her hands fidgeting with each other. You could see her trembling, and it was a bit more than usual.
"Hey." You gingerly grabbed her hand. "It's okay, you can tell me anything, you know?"
She seemed to calm down a bit, she replied quietly as she gently squeezed your hand. "W-well, b-before this I was... th-thinking about s-something to d-do for Undine, s-since, she a-always ends u-up p-planing our dates." She paused.
"B-but, I d-dont think s-she would be interested i-in it." The look on her face grew anxious, and the shake in her voice was amplified. You could tell that she really wanted to do something nice for Undine. Although you haven't met Alphys' super cool and hot fish lady girlfriend, if she made her this happy then Undine's cool in your book.
And based on what Alphys tells you about her, she definitely wouldn't care about what they're doing, just that they're doing it together. You tell her so, but it seems like even that won't calm her nerves down. It was at times like these you wished you knew how to comfort people.
