Callison woke up at 2 in the morning. She couldn't sleep anymore. She headed for the rooftop and saw the city lights. The wind blew her hair as she took a seat on a chair by the side of the railings and watched the view.

She rested her head on the railings and felt the cold metal. I wonder what everyone is dreaming about. She thought.

She closed her eyes and when they opened, it was already morning. The sun was already up and she saw a few people walking around down the streets.

"Callison!" A voice shouted from downstairs.

"I'm up here, Dad." Callison shouted back.

A man in his late forties appears by the door. His black hair styled in a clean cut. He grinned as he approached Callison. "I'm going to work, little sugar plum." He ruffled Callison's already ruffled hair.

"Dad, I'm 16. What do you take me for, a six-year-old?"

"Sug- Callison. I rarely get to see you everyday because of work. Even at home. Cut your old man some slack. You're growing older and older everyday. One day, you'll be a fine young woman and some-"

"Dad, I get what you're saying. But can you please not say it now? I just woke up and I'd probably waste your time because I won't understand you."

"I could never waste my time with my family, Callison. Every moment with all of you are important to me." Callison's dad hugged her tenderly. He kissed her forehead and went down the stairs.

"You could come out now, Mom." Callison smirked as a woman revealed herself behind the door.

    "How did you-"

"Mom, I'm your daughter. I know you'd spy on our father-daughter moments. Plus, I saw your shoes."   Callison smiled as her mother approached her.

"What is up with you and this rooftop? You love going here all the time. Why?"

"I dunno. Maybe I just love the view."

"You're like your father, Callison. That's a part of him I always loved."

"Yeah." She blinked and when she opened her eyes, her head was lying on the metal railings. It was almost sunrise.

"A dream, huh?" Callison sat up as she saw the sun coming up the horizon.

She couldn't remember much from her dream. All she knew was that her dream occured here.

"What a beautiful sunrise." She smiled. It was a good start to her day.

After the sun has completely risen, Callison decided to go downstairs to her room. She heard someone talking next door. She decided to ignore it.

As she opened the door, she saw a girl talking on a phone with her back to Callison. The girl wore a red beanie. She had a black shirt and black pants on.

Callison decided to surprise her. She slowly crept towards the girl and tickled her.

    "Aaah- Callison!" Penny shouted.

"Don't shout. People are still sleeping."

    Penny mimed her scream ridiculously.

"What are you doing in my room, anyways? You never wake up this early." Callison crossed her arms.

"Some guy's squatting in my house so I told Mom I'd spend the day here." Penny smiled.

"Of course you would. I mean, I would too."
