Okay so I was setting up my bookshelf, throwing out some old books etc, then I came across THIS poem that I had completely forgotten about! It's one of the first ones I've ever written, and I was probably only 10-11 years old at the time. It's SO BAD and it makes me cringe everytime I read it but....also can't help but feel proud of the fact that I was always passionate about putting my thoughts into words. I guess this is a nice example of "it's okay to be really bad at something when you first start it. You'll get better with time and practise". So uh...hope you enjoy/cringe? Lol!

After a long day when I hop into bed My mind starts to wander To places that I've never been Into a world full of wonder
Where I shoot sparkles in the sky And everyone's happy Sometimes I start to fly And enjoy being me
My imaginations define me Fly me to a different reality Where I have many fans (gurl wut😭) Come with me And I'll show you How to live your fantasy
I meet people I've always wanted to meet I go places I've always wanted to go I do things I've always wanted to do People compliment me how I want them to
There, I'm a completely different person Filled with love and ideas Nothing is impossible in this one And people don't get hate on media
