Kiss Cam

I was getting ready to go to a football game. I don't normally go, but my friend Jennie, has a boyfriend who plays in the game and she wanted me to go so that I could keep her company while she watched her boyfriend play.

I agreed as long as she buys me food, and she promised that she would. So I got ready and gathered up my things before walking out of my apartment. I walked out to my car and started the engine. Jennie is already there with her boyfriend.

I drove off to the football stadium. When I got there, I paid for my ticket and walked in. "Y/nie" Jennie said as she walked up and hugged me. "Hi" I said and hugged her back "I have out seats picked out, do you wanna get snacks before we go sit?" she asked.

I shook my head no "I'll be okay for now" I said. She nodded "okay, come on" she said and started walking through the bleachers, with me following closely behind her through the big crowd of people.

We got to our seats and we sat down "the game should start soon" she said as she got situated. I nodded as I got comfortable. "Thank you for coming Y/nie" she said and smiled at me. "It's no problem, plus I get food out of it" I said and we both giggled.

I felt a peasants next to me so I looked over and seen a handsome man "excuse me, sorry, is this seat taken?" his honey-like voice asked. "No, you can sit there" I said and gave him a small smile. "Thank you" he said and sat down, I noticed some other guys who had also sat next to him.

I looked over at Jennie and smiled. I nudged her arm with mine. She looked up at me. I slightly nudged my head in the guys direction. She looked over at him before looking at me with a smile "Y/n has a crush" she teased. "Talk to him" she whispered. I quickly shook my head no "he'll think I'm weird" I whispered back.

"You don't know that" she whispered. I opened my mouth to say something, but instead cheers interrupted me. I looked and the game started. I crossed my arms "I'm not even gonna look at him" I whispered to her. She laughed and rolled her eyes before watching her boyfriend play.

After a while of listing to a lot of cheers I started to get hungry. "Jennie, I'm hungry" I said and tapped on her shoulder. "I'll go get some food from the snack bar, wanna go?" she asked as she picked up her wallet. I shook my head, not wanting to go through the big crowd of people. She smiled "okay, I'll be back" she said before walking off.

I sat and watched her boyfriends team score another touch down. "We'll go on a quick break, in the meantime, we'll do our famous kiss cam" I heard someone on the mic say to every one in the stadium. They still do that? I thought.

I didn't bother to pay attention to it, I feel like its more of a waist of time. I pulled my phone out and got on Instagram. I heard the sound of more cheers, meaning that someone got picked for the kiss cam thing. I didn't bother to get off my phone, cause I think the whole thing is a waist of time.

I felt a small tap on my shoulder, coming form the guy. I looked up at him "um- we uh- we're on the kiss cam" he scrambled through his words. My eyes quickly darted to the big screen that showed me and him sitting together. 

What the fuck!? Why me?? Everyone is looking at me on the big screen. "Do you want to? I-I mean we don't have to if you aren't comfortable with it" he said. I back at him "like.. on the lips?" I asked. He shyly nodded his head yes.

"I-I guess so" I said. I mean who wouldn't want to kiss a good looking man? I know I'd love to, but not on a big screen in front of so many people.

He shyly smiled before moving his hand to my cheek, and slowly moving my hair behind my ear. He slowly leaned in close to my face. He let out a giggle "maybe if I quit smiling I could kiss you" he said. I giggled, before leaning closer to him.

I closed my eyes as our lips touched. His lips are really soft. His hand caressed my jaw as he wrapped his hand to the back of my neck. Before long we finally pulled away, the crowd cheering loudly. We shyly looked away from each other.

Jennie came back "Y/nie you kissed him!!" she squealed. I looked down at my lap, feeling flustered. "Here I got you some nachos and a water" she said and handed it to me. "Thanks" I said.

After the game was over I said good bye to Jennie and her boyfriend before walking out to get to my car. "Hey!" I heard someone call out. Out of reflex I turned and looked. There the handsome guy was, running toward me. "Hey" he said out of breath.

I smiled at him. "Hang on" he said and belt down slightly, putting his hands on his knees as he caught his breath. "Do you need some water? Here" I said and handed him the bottle of water that Jennie got me earlier, but I had already drank half of it.

"I drank some of it but we kissed so it shouldn't matter" I said. He smiled, stood all the way up and took the water before taking a drink of it. "Thank you" he said after he swallowed the water. I nodded and gave him a small smile.

"Um- anyway I was gonna ask you if you had any plans tomorrow?" he asked as he scratched the back of his neck, looking shy. Honestly I'm shocked that he'd ask that, he's a good looking man, and you would think his standards would be higher than me.

"I'm free" I said, feeling my cheeks heat up. "Have you been to the coffee shop on main street?" he asked. "I've been there a  couple times" I said. "Wanna meet up there tomorrow at 3?" he asked. I smiled and looked down shyly "sure" I said.

"Okay great.. I'm Jungkook by the way" he said and held his hand out for me to shake. I shook his hand "I'm Y//n"

Little did you know this was gonna be the start of something beautiful that lasted for the rest of your life
