chapter four

So I turned to him and started to say: "Aleksi... I have to tell you something... I wasn't feeling well the last few days... and Minna was there for me..."
He looked at me worried and asked directly what was going on.
I continued: "She brought me something at noon and I took a test. So.. Aleksi..."
I smiled slightly and told him after a short pause:,,I am pregnant.."
I stroked my belly and Aleksi opened his eyes, he was a bit shocked. It took a short time until he really realized it and then he got tears in his eyes and looked at me grinning and unbelievable: "No... for real now??"
I nodded and he took me in his arms before he suddenly said happily, "We're going to be parents!"
He was very happy and now tears rolled down my face, I had absolutely not expected this reaction from him.
It made me so happy.
Rilla had jumped right up and through our emotional chaos she was running around crazily, being a bit confused.
Aleksi pulled me to him so that I was now leaning with my back against his upper body.
He put his arms around me, his head resting on my shoulder, and stroked my still flat stomach with a grin on his lips.
Quietly I said to him: "I was really afraid to tell you... I was afraid of your reaction, since it is still very early..."

He then looked at me and answered in his calm voice: "Of course it's a bit early... it wasn't really planned... but you are my big love... I still have to realize it properly, but I'm so happy to become a dad... We'll make it together, it's absolutely not impossible! We can do it! Belive me babe!"
He wiped the tears from my face and we sat close to the lake for a while longer.

The next days were fortunately a little quieter, because it would still be some time until the next festival.
We talked a lot about the last tour and of course about our baby.
How we would do it, from when we would tell the boys and also when to tell our family.

We could tell the family much later, because it wouldn't be so noticeable. But with the band and the crew, it's more difficult....
After all, we often went out partying and drinking. And as soon as someone notices that I suddenly don't drink alcohol anymore, everyone would notice it right away and it would almost be clear to them.

We then decided to just wait for the perfect situation.
First I would make an appointment with the gynecologist and Aleksi would also very much like to come there.
And then when we confirmed it, we would tell the others at the earliest.
So until then, we had to be careful and avoid possible alcohol situations.

A week went by pretty fast and finally my doctor's appointment came.
In fact, we had managed quite well - but now there would be a lot more gigs coming up, where it would be way more difficult for us to hide it.
Aleksi was sitting next to me and the ultrasound was just done.
As we had hoped, the doctor told us that I was indeed pregnant, she could see this clearly.
She took a picture of the embryo and with that we could leave.
Of course, I had a new appointment and a lot of new infos.
We sat back in the car and tears came to both of us.
We couldn't believe it...
The doctor told us a short time ago that I was already at the beginning of the 4th month and at our request she also told us the gender of the Baby...
