"A-Ara..?" Jay's voice was barely a whisper as he slipped inside the room; his eyes instantly landed on the person facing the window. "Ara, please.. Speak to me.."
"I.. I'm.." Her voice was quiet as well. "I'm sorry, Jay.."
"Honey, you don't have to be sorry..!!" Jay went in to hug her, but she only moved closer to the window, only making him freeze. "Darling..?"
"I understand if you are upset with me.. And i will fully understand if you choose to break up with me.. I understand it all.." her hand reached towards her face, and the boy could deduce that she started crying. He didn't want to make her uncomfortable, despite wanting to comfort the hell out of his girlfriend.
"Honey, i-" Jay cleared his throat, a little taken aback from her words. "I don't want to break up with you!"
Ara sniffled, wiping her tears with her sleeve before turning around. "I fucked up our relationship, Jay.. i messed up, i messed up s-so goddamn badly.."
"Love, you.. You really didn't.. I'm the one that overreacted.." he edged closer to her, slowly slipping his arms around her. "It's gonna be okay.. We will fix all of this.."
"I.. i don't think things will fix as easily as you think, I-I.." she took a deep breath; she really didn't want to do this, but...
"I think.. It would be beneficial if we took a break.. From this relationship, Jay.."

The ride home was deadly silent; Ara sat at the front of the minivan, whilst Jay sat right at the back, listening to music very loudly. Heeseung warned him to turn it down, ashe doesn't want the younger going deaf, but he only flipped the older off.
