3 weeks later
Dabi walked into Hawks's room to, once again, see Tokoyami there, his head laid down on the bed, asleep.
He sighed and sat down on the other side and held Keigo's hand, giving it a little squeeze.
"I miss you" he whispered.
Just then, he felt Keigo squeeze his hand back.
Dabi widened his eyes and looked over to see Keigo slowly but surely opening his eyes, smile making its way to his face as well.
"I miss you too" he weakly whispered back.
"You're awake!" Dabi exclaimed, as he jumped up out of his seat and gently hugged him, tears slipping from his eyes.
Keigo hugged back at the same time as Tokoyami woke up and looked to see what was happening.
"H-Hawks...y-you're awake" he said.
Hawks softly patted Tokoyami's head. "It's nice to see you" he replied.
Tokoyami smiled and gave him a hug as well.

A few nights later, after Dabi had moved in with Keigo, he decided to take a walk around the apartment buildings when he noticed Keigo sitting on the roof of their apartment.
Touya frowned and decided to go inside and up on the rooftop with him.
"What are you doing up here?" He asked once he got there.
Keigo hesitated to answer, but he shook his head, not even bothering to look at him, and answered. "I...could ask you the same thing" he said, remembering how it went when the two of them first met.
Touya chuckled and took a seat next to him.
"Seriously, Keigo, you're supposed to be in bed, like the doctor said, what are you doing up here?" He asked again.
Keigo sighed and smiled, still not looking at him.
"I like the sunsets and sunrises outdoors, but the wind feels nice too" he answered, almost exactly as he said it when they were little.
Realizing the similar responses, Touya widened his eyes and blushed, now smiling.
"I like them too" he said. "But you can't be here. Come on, I'll make us some tea" he continued, then got up and walked off.
Once he was gone, Keigo sighed and looked down below him, letting go tears he was holding in.
'Was I really a fool to say that? Am I really here for the sunset? My feelings say it was something else, something I should have done a long time ago'. He thought to himself, not sure why he was having such thoughts.
His life was almost perfect, he had everything he wanted and he was happy, why was he thinking like this?
He just hoped Touya was ready, was prepared...

Dabi, along with the heroes that all came, stood up as the doctor walked out of the room.
They were all nervous and worried as to the news he had to say, as his face put on a sour look.
He took a deep breath, then nervously looked at every pro hero and student and the one ex villain that stood before him.
He bowed his head, his heart racing and ready to jump out of his chest.
"I'm...sorry for your loss" he simply said.
The group there gasped, then whispered to one another, Mirko and Tokoyami along with a few heros began to cry.
Touya stood there, frozen, his heart pounding.
He saw the signs, why couldn't he had done something?
He should have known sitting on the rooftop was a huge sign!
But he didn't, and there was nothing he could have done to stop or prevent it at all.
Then, he broke down in tears and ran past the doctor and into the room, where doctors and nurses had began to move Keigo's body.
"No! No, no, no!" He cried, running to the body and uncovered the sheet, revealing Keigo's pale cold face.
He threw himself on top and sobbed.
"No, damn you! This isn't over! Come back, damnit! Damn you, Keigo!" He cried.
"You were supposed to protect me under your wing!"
The doctors and nurses stood there looking at each other sadly and let it all happen, wanting to comfort him, but they knew he needed to be alone.
"I was supposed to be under your wing" he whispered.
"You'll always be under my wing"
