As the trees rocked and the rain poured, I was sat outside of school waiting for my mother to pick me up.
Next minute my mum pulls up on the car park on the side. I walk quickly to the car and hop in.
"You could've at least told me to pick you up! What took you so long to call me?" She yelled as she drove off.
"I didn't bring my phone today so I had to walk all the way back to Student Services, sorry mum." I sighed leaning my head against the cold window.
"Well why don't you charge it so I don't have to come driving around for you!"
I pulled my book out of my bag and started from the last chapter I was on.
My mum turned up the music louder and sung along, my poor ears.
My mum wasn't the worst mum in the world, but yeah she did have her bad and good sides.
"Did you hand in your homework that was due last week?" Mum asked turning the music down a little.
"Yeah."
Not gonna lie, I am really bad at remembering to bring my homework or assignments. I have it all set out on my desk ready the night before, but just walk right past it in the morning.
We arrived home and I got out of the car, followed by my mum and I went straight to my room.
I went on my computer and texted my best friend Emily on Skype.
Wanna Skype?
Emily: Sure! I'll call :)
The call popped up on the screen and I accepted. My bestfriends face popped up onto the screen, mine in the bottom corner.
"Hey girl." Emily looked up and smiled.
"Hey."
Emily isn't the worlds most popular girl, she is different, she doesn't like being popular. She's got heaps of friends but not the whole school.
She's short and wears glasses and has straight, long blonde hair. She's fucking gorgeous I must say but she hates everything about herself which she shouldn't.
"Why did you come home so late?" She asked as she started writing something down. "Because it was pouring down and I didn't wanna walk, so I called mum. Plus I forgot my phone."
She laughed pushing up her glasses a bit. "Did you go to Student Services?"
"Eventually after I took everything out of my bag and panicked thinking I lost my phone, yeah." I laughed spinning around on my chair, "What are you writing?"
"Oh I'm just doing this plan for my test on Friday." She shrugged holding up the paper with heaps written down on it.
Emily likes to get good grades and is always confident with her work. Then there's me who gets atleast four C's, one A and two B's. And I am not really confident.
"Amy! Take the dog out for a walk!" My mum interrupted shouting from somewhere in the house.
I groaned and looked out my window, it's pouring down with rain, what is she thinking?
"It's pouring down with rain! Do you want me to die out there?"
"No.. But okay just do it tonight then, he hasn't been for a walk the past few days!" She replied shouting back and I shrugged.
"What was that about?" Emily laughed and I shrugged. "Mum wanted me to take Bon for a walk when it's clearly pouring."
Emily's face disappearred and I logged onto Facebook.
I scrolled through my newsfeed, watching the funny videos people share and comment on, tagging my friends in them.
I send my friend a message before I noticed a 1 on the friend request person thing. I clicked on it and it's from a guy called Tyler Henderson.
I checked the mutual friends, none. I accepted anyway since he's good looking and I stalked his account.
"Dinner!"
"Em I have to go have dinner. See you tomorrow." I clicked back onto Skype and Emily is on her phone.
"Alright I'll see you tomorrow, bye." She replied and I end the call.
A message pops up on Facebook, I read it from Tyler and I reply back with 'hi'.
'You're really good looking 😉'
