"Good news, all of you passed. Bad news, some of you got the first question wrong." Their teacher announced to the now at ease class.

"86??? CODY I PASSED! THANK YOU THANK THANK YOU!" Junior was exploding with excitement.

"69!" Jeffy said cooly.

"71, dude!"

"Nice Joseph, now you won't have to live in my bush forever."

"But it's free-"

"We can talk about this another time."

Cody glanced at his paper excitedly. "98, as expected- 98?! 98???? What'd I get wrong???" In distress Cody scanned the pages for what he marked wrong. Nothing. He marched up to the teacher, "What'd I get wrong?" The teach examined the packet for a moment.

"Ah yes, your name. You wrote Junior with a heart."

Cody blushed intensely. "I-I did? How do you know it's mine?"

"Cody.. everyone else here gets no better than an 80.. except for Junior today. Hm, odd."

"Oh y-yea."

Cody shyly went back to his seat.

"Let me see your test, Cody." Junior asked excitedly.

"Oh- n-no. I just carried some number wrong, it's no big deal." Cody began to sweat around his collar.

Junior looked at Cody suspiciously as he didn't believe Cody's excuse. He never carries numbers wrong. He checks his work over three times, he wouldn't have missed that.

"Do you guys wanna come to my house after school?" Junior called out to the other three boys.

"Yes dude! It's better than sitting in your bush all night."

"We really gotta talk about that." Junior added.

"Uh s-sure."

"We already live together but sure Junior." Jeffy claimed.

"And since it's Friday, you guys can sleep over!"

Everyone cheered and kept talking of plans of what to do at the sleepover.

They all waited anxiously, jittering from excitement as they still had over an hour left of school. Although everyone was excited, Cody looked nervous and unsure, and Junior had no idea why.

School ended and they were all heading home on the bus. When it came to their stop they all pushed each other trying to get off first.

"Last one in my room is gay!!" Junior called out running upstairs.

Joseph and Jeffy sprinted through the house as Cody waltzed behind and took his sweet time. "We all know that's me."

The boys look at Cody then brushed it off. "Remember when Cody used to carry around that stupid doll? When we were like twelve?"

"KEN WASN'T JUST A DOLL JOSEPH!" Cody defended.

"Guys calm down, lets watch a scary movie!" Junior chimed in.

"I have the scariest movie.. it's about a kid, named Jeffy, whose daddy made him eat green beans."

"Jeffy that's your reality." Cody said realistically.

"Whatever guys, I have the perfect movie. Dead by dawn, starring Charlie from Charlie and friends." The tv clicked on as Joseph kept talking. "I heard it's crazy fucking scary."

They all sat on Juniors king sized bed and got themselves comfortable. Jeffy lied at the foot of the bed, then Joseph next to him, as Junior and Cody sat against the head board.

Joseph hit play and they all silenced themselves and stopped rustling around so they could hear the movie.

"Can you guys put subtitles on-" Cody started.

"Shut up nerd." Joseph called out.

"Zip it four eyes." Jeffy laughed.

"Guys turn on the subtitles for him, God." Junior demanded. "My house my rules."

"Why are you defending Cody? That's weird dude."

"Shut up Joseph." Said Junior defensively.

"Thanks Junior.." Cody said ever so slightly so only Junior could hear.

Junior only nudged Cody's elbow in response. They both smiled, but neither of them knew it. The movie progressed and everyone was fine, until jump-scares started popping left and right.

"JESUS CHRIST."

"HOLY SHIT, HOLD ME!"

"FUCK!"

"I WANT MY MOMMY!"

Everyone was screaming and rolling around on the bed. As a natural reaction, Cody jumped and pressed himself into Junior's side. Junior accepted it and became a tough barrier to make Cody feel secure. They stayed in that position for awhile until Cody adjusted his shoulder and Junior scooted away.

Cody felt embarrassed so he sat up straight and kept focus on the movie.

When the movie ended they all sat up and turned on the lights.

"Pssh that wasn't even scary guys." Joseph bragged.

"You fucking dug your nails into my arm." Jeffy whined, showing everyone the marks on his arm.

"You too pussies keep arguing, I'm gonna go ask Chef Pee Pee to make us snacks." Junior began to walk out when Cody walked up beside him.

"I'll come with you." Cody insisted.

They began walking slowly into the hallway to buy themselves time to talk because they both knew they had some things to bring up.

"I didn't make you uncomfortable during the movie did I?" Junior asked worriedly.

"No.. why'd you move away?" The shorter boy asked.

"I thought you moved because I was making you uncomfortable. That's why I scooted away, to give you space."

Cody furiously blushed, he had to contain his excitement as Junior just expressed his concern for him.

"I wasn't uncomfortable. You never make me uncomfortable."

"That's kinda gay, Cody." Junior scoffed. "CHEF PEE PEE! WE WANT SNACKS!" He began running down the stairs into the kitchen and Cody followed closely.

Chef Pee Pee banged his head on the table in disappointing. "I hate my life, I hate my life, why, why, whyyy??"

"Hi Chef Pee Pee. We need some juice, and some snacks. We're hungry."

Cody always found Chef Pee Pee attractive, so he caught himself staring and stopped. Because recently he found Junior to be more his type.

"Cody stop looking at me." Chef Pee Pee complained. "Fucking weirdo." He murmured. "What could you possibly need that you can't do yourself. You're a big boy, get the food yourself."

"But Chef Pee Pee-"

"No you stupid brat. I'm going to bed. PLEASE shut the hell up and let me sleep. I'll be on the couch if you need me. But please, don't need me."

"Ugh he sucks, Cody." The ginger whined.

"Yea.. well now we can raid the kitchen."

The two boys laughed as they filled their entire arms with food and drink. They kept spilling and dropping things everywhere but didn't mind as they were having so much fun.

Cody just wished Junior saw him the way he wanted to be seen.
