Flashback: 9 years ago
It was a beautiful orange and yellow autumn that made the streets seem like a canvas and the leaves the paint. The kids on the streets would play on the playground where the imagination had no limits, It all started when Lucas fell off the swings.
Lucas: OUCH!!
Lucas groans in pain and looks down to see him knee was scraped,as the kids on the other side of the playground laugh at him
Lucas stands up until Zack stops him
Zack: hey wait up!
Lucas turns around looking confused, once Zack Catches up he stops for a moment to catch his breath and says
Zack: i saw that you fell off the swing so..
Zack gives Lucas a hello kitty bandaid, Lucas takes the bandaid and looks up in shock
Lucas: you like hello kitty too-?? Everyone at school thinks its silly that I like that show
Zack looks at him for a moment in silence
Zack: not really, my mom just Carry's random bandaids with her and I brought you one :/
Lucas: oh...
Lucas looks away in disappointment
Zack: but..
Zack: I think its silly that those kids make fun of you cause of something you like. It's unfair! So from now on...
Zack pauses for a moment as Lucas looks at him in confusion
Zack: I will be you knight in shining armor!
Lucas looks at Zack for a moment and starts to giggle
Lucas: you know what, your pretty cool I guess.. sure, nice to meet you my knight in shining armor, what is your name?
Zack: Im Zack. what about you?
Lucas: I'm Lucas, also I'm turning 7 this week so do you want to come to my birthday party-?
Zack's face lights up with joy as he trys to hold back his smile
Zack: as your knight and your new best friend I will be there! Who else is coming?
Lucas: only you, I don't have a lot of friends..
Zack's mom finishes exchangeing number with Lucas's mom and stands up, walks away from the bench where Lucas's mom was sitting and calls Zack to head back to the car.
Zack: oh I gotta go bye bye!
Zack starts running off to the car but stops for a moment and runs back towards Lucas
Zack: hey Lucas I forgot something!
Zack hugs Lucas and pull a paper burger king crown out and gives it to Lucas, as he smiles he starts to run off again to the car
Zack: I will see you this week my king!
