My eyes shoot open wide Sweating, heart in my throat Relieved, it was just a dream. But also fearful, for that dream Is inspired by reality. I live every day in fear On edge As the voices around me rise So does my blood All the way up to my head Until I'm blinded. Sweating, heart in my throat Scared, this is not a dream Not anymore.
