Chapter-20 (Getting back together)

Kai has gone for too many long drives but those all seemed very short when comparing to the time he's travelling with Sulli now. Just ten minutes inside the car with her made all the drug he consumed lately to drain away. The atmosphere inside the car was so dense and tensed.

"Where are we going, Doctor Baby?" he carefully asked her, trying to be brave but immensely failing.

He flinched back when she bashed the horn, asking way to the vehicles in front of her, and also signaling Kai to shut his mouth.

This was his fifth successful failure he's attained for past ten minutes. Whatever question he threw at her, everything went in air and she never opened her mouth to answer them.

He was about to rest his head against the window but received a great punch in his forehead from the headboard due to the sudden stop of the car.

"Ouchhh......!" he yelled in pain, "What the.....? Why did you do that, Doctor Baby?" he whined, as he tried massaging his paining spot.

She got down from the car with a I-don't-care look. "Is it my fault when it's you who didn't wear the seatbelt?"

"At least, now you have talked.....," he sighed in relief, breaking the thought that she wouldn't talk to him anymore. He once again flinched back when he heard Sulli closing the car door with a loud noise.

She walked to his side and opened his door, grabbing his wrist to pull him out.
Once he was out, he scanned the area with squinted eyes, trying to find where they are now. The place seemed so familiar but still, he couldn't get it; but not until when he was pulled by Sulli somewhere. And that's when he found they both were getting into Sulli's guest house.

When they were inside, Sulli locked the main door and switched on all the lights to brighten the rooms.

Kai again felt being dragged by her and was forcibly pushed into a room. His heartbeat raised and closed his eyes tightly, fearing he's going hurt his back once he met the cold tile floor; but instead, he felt soft and fluffy material under him.

He opened his eyes and realized it was a bed and mentally felt happy for not hurting his back. He sat upright when he saw Sulli coming towards him with a plain face. She walked close to him and locked her eyes with his'.

Kai could feel his heart running so fast and his face began to heat up. He couldn't find what type of expression or feeling is burning in her eyes; but whatever it was, he should handle it.

He simply couldn't keep gazing her eyes as he felt weird thoughts creeping his mind. So to stop them, he spoke out.

"Wh-What are you doing cl-close to m- Ahh.....!" he yelled, when he received the strongest knock upon his head from her. It was so strong that he couldn't bear the stinging pain. "Ahh.....!" he still shouted in pain when he placed his hands over the hurt spot, rolling all over the bed to ease his pain. "What's wrong, Doctor Baby?" he managed to ask her, definitely not daring to shout or he may receive another strong knock.

Giving him her another silent answer, she walked towards the kitchen and opened the refrigerator once reaching there.

He slowly got up from the bed, walked and stood at the bedroom doorway to watch what's she's doing. At first he was confused on why would the fridge look like a mini pharmacy, but later it striked his mind that she's a Doctor and what more should a Doctor have in her guest house fridge......?!

He immediately sprinted to the bed again and threw his body down, pretending to suffer in pain when he saw her coming back to the bedroom.

"Ow....., My head hurts! Lord, Save me from dying. I-I can't breathe in this pain," he cried his fake stupid ranting while holding his paining spot, and swimming over the bed when he made sure she's now inside the room. "I can't bear this pain"
