More Than Magic (Hermione x Male reader)

Year 1-Year 2

Year one

After being put in Gryffindor house you unsurprisingly became quick friends with Harry, Ron and Hermione, and like Hermione you shared her love of books and knowledge but that never stopped you from rushing to save those you care about. You never knew your birth parents but those that looked after you and raised you are your real family in your eyes. Your father is an Auror and your mother is a muggle that was saved from a band of death eaters by your father. You are well respected by all your teachers for your quick mastery of magic and spells far beyond that of your predicted skill level. 

Your skill at magic had led to you making enemies among friends you are friends with most kids even those in other houses. Slytherin may never like you but you hold no grudge against them and even though he hates you, you respect Malfoy for how hard he tries to improve himself. During the incident with the troll you talked to Hermione and she said that after going to talk to her and helping her she gave you her trust and undying support. She said that after you helped her she will find a way to return the favour no matter what you said she didn't owe you a thing but she insisted. 

After then the two of you spent a lot of time together the two of you would regularly study and practice your magic but as always you were better than Hermione but you offered to teach her any time. After learning about the stone you were stunned that such a thing existed but like Hermione, you both agreed that it shouldn't as no one should live forever. 

When Harry told you about the mirror and you stood in front of it and you saw yourself with Hermione beside you. It made you blush but you were not clear on what it meant until a few nights later when Harry explained it to you. It was on Christmas day when you were back home that you received a letter from Hemione saying that she had found a way to repay you and hoped to see you soon. As it turns out Hermione repaid you by revealing the existence of the time turner to you that McGonagall gave her. 

As your skills continued to advance McGonagall told you that if there were any particular spells or types of magic you wished to learn ahead of time she would gladly teach you. When it came to going after the stone your true strength was reviled as you stepped in to save Ron from sacrificing himself and took his place you woke up a few days later to find Hermione was there waiting for you to wake up. After she explained everything to you you smiled at her and then the two of you shared a long and loving hug. It was over the summer that you found out you have a half-brother as he shares the same birth mother as you but is the son of your adoptive father.

Year two

Being the only two on the train as you made your way to school you and Hermione had a moment to get even closer and you knew you would be her best friend for life. The problems of this year arose when you found out who your D.A.D.A teacher was the school could not have picked a worse teacher. You knew something was off about him but not like you could do anything so you just ignored him and tried not to get in trouble. 

One night you were in the main hall with Ron and Hermione when you hear a voice a low reptile-like voice. You get up and follow the voice as it gets louder it gets clearer and you make out the word kill before running into Harry who heard it too. You were studying with Hermione when you mentioned the voice she believed you but since you and Harry are the only ones to her it she can't help.

During the dwelling lessons a few months later you were pitted against Malfoy you were clearly superior to him but he had learned a few new spells too. This is where you and Harry are reviled to be parselmouths as Harry was talking to the snake and you understood.

The attacks continued until the worst happened Hermione was petrified your heart shattered when you found out and you stuck by her for days. After figuring out that the monster is a Basilisk it is revealed that Ginny Ron's sister has been taken by the monster Harry, Ron, you and Lockhart go after her.

In the chamber you and Tom Riddle have a battle over control of the Basilisk but Tom wins and sends it after Harry. As the Basilisk chases Harry Tom Riddle revealed the truth about you and that he is your father making you the son of Lord Voldemort. True or not you reject his offer to join him and soon the Basilisk returns as does Harry you pull the sword from the hat and are able to stab the Basilisk killing it.

After defeating Voldemort you Harry, Ron, Ginny and Lockhart make it out and back to safety it is a few days later when all the petrified students are back. You are in the great hall as Hermione walks in and you see her smile you both run into each other's arms and hug before she hugs the others. As you are all leaving you to tell the others about your real parents and thankfully they all still accept you for who you are not your heritage. As you say goodbye for the summer at the end of your second year you are saying goodbye to Hermione when she kissed your cheek and you blushed madly making you see the brunette in a completely new light.
