Chapter 8// Frigid

"Well that's the bell for lunch! Oh, and Eren see me after class!"

After everyone was out of the classroom I approached my teacher.

"Yes you called for me sir?" I said.

"Oh so um Eren... I've noticed you have been out of it in class, please don't let it happen again."

"Oh okay sir, its just personal stuff... my bad! It won't happen again!" I replied.

After my discussion with Professor Pixis I hurried off to lunch.

As I was walking in the hallway I overheard someone yelling, me being the curious person I am I hid behind the corner to spy.

"Can't you just let me say for one more night?" Levi questioned getting a little bit frustrated with the blonde.

"Levi I can't keep doing this for you, it's been 5 years... since we've been doing this and you still won't tell me what's up..." Erwin stated. "I need answers." He continued.

"But- I-I just can't okay?!" Levi replied with his voice cracking.

Erwin takes a deep breath, "Fine, but you have lock the doors because I have business to take care of..."

"Thank you..." Levi said.

"Levi you know I lov-" Erwin was in the middle of his sentence but Levi quickly cut him off.

"P-please don't say it..." Levi stuttered.

Erwin took another deep sigh and walked off. Before leaving he said, "Meet me at the front gate... after school, I'll be waiting to pick you up." Then he was out of sight.

Eren peek the corner with concerned eyes as he decided to leave as well.

Eren entered the cafeteria sitting with his friends.

"Hey Eren what took you so long?" Armin stated.

"O-oh the teacher wanted to see my after class that's all..." Eren said darting off to a certain someone who just entered the cafeteria.

Mikasa turned her head to see what had her friend so captivated, she then notices that Eren was staring at her cousin, she smiles and turns her head "Still head over hills I see."

"No I- well it's not that... it just I overhead something..."

Ayyy how did you guys like the chapter? I know I haven't updated in a while it's just been stressful for me... Also do you guys prefer longer chapters or shorter chapter?
