I Will Remember

I've wanted to write something for a couple days now. It's been almost a week since the news of Technoblade's passing. He was such a huge inspiration for me, and a comfort too. Throughout everything he made me smile and laugh. There hasn't been a video yet that hasn't made me happy.

I first found Techno through a cosplay. One of my favorite cosplayers cosplayed him and I just thought, "okay, I have to know who this guy is now."

So I went into YouTube, searched up Technoblade, and started watching one of his vods. It was a DSMP vod, I think the one where Tommy gets blamed for the community house.

I remember so clearly the first time I heard, "Startin the stream." The first time the sellout timer went off. The first time he went up to the bell and started ringing it.

After that I started watching everyone on the dsmp. It became my new fandom, and shortly after, I realized that I could stream.

I've always loved content creation. From fanart to writing to cosplay, I pretty much do it all. So I figured streaming wouldn't be too hard.

And it wasn't. I loved it. And I took inspiration from Techno the entire time. From playing on hypixel to literally having a parody of the "Techno-chan" speech in my about me on twitch.

Technoblade is the reason why my life is the way it is now. And I cannot thank him enough for that.

So I will remember him. As a content creator. As the Blood God. As a king.

And perhaps one day I will have the honor of telling him how much he means to me face to face.

I love and miss you Technoblade. Rest well.
