Fruit Bowl's of Happiness (WIP)

A lazy day.

9:00 AM

The day was boring, no school, she finished her homework on Friday, and her parents were out for the day. This, while boring, was nothing new to Maddie. Her Saturdays always like this, lazing around the house, cooking, going on the computer to seek a momentary relief from boredom. Although, There was always one good way to cure her boredom.

Call up her friend, Carlos.

11:00 AM

Carlos' POV

Carlos was playing Candy Land with Angelly, another one of Maddie's friends, when his phone started vibrating. It was Maddie.

"Hey Angelly do you wanna come over to Maddie's house?" Carlos asked. Angelly silently nodded and they left to her house, they weren't that far anyways. Walking down the street, Carlos comes up with a brilliant idea. Make Maddie go on that new website, RentFriends. Carlos rambles about it to Angelly, whos quietly listening.

11:10 AM

Angelly's POV

Arriving at Maddie's house, she sits down on the couch and watches as Carlos shows Maddie the website. She wants to say something, but decides it's not needed. Watching as Maddie scrolls down the list, listening to Carlos mention how the website works. She goes on her phone, and watches cats playing with yarn.

11:25 AM

Maddie's POV

She scrolls without interest, bored. She's looking for someone who would be a great friend, yet everyone's either too old, too young, too extroverted, too introverted, its almost as if this website is ignoring her. "Come on, these people are sooo boring... Carlos your website sucks" Maddie said after scrolling for 15 minutes. "Oh come on Maddie, we JUST started using this, the website probably hasn't filtered out your dislikes in a friend, just give it a bit it'll get better." Carlos said back, although, he looked like he wasn't even sure of that. But someone caught her eye, two people, Lauren and Alexa. Same age, near the area, and they weren't anti-social or over-social. Maddie knew even without this site, she could be great friends if they came across eachother. And so, with a single click of the mouse, they went to hangout at the local park tomorrow.
