He's at the top of the class.
I'm the class failure.
He's every girl's dream.
I'm just a nobody.
He's Sehun.
I'm just me.
"FREEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAK!!" somebody shouted, instantly snapping me out of my reverie.
"M-me?" I ask with a trembling voice.
"Duh. Who else? You're the only freak here!" she shrieked, letting everyone in the room hear her frustration. "Why do K have to be paires with someone like you? Good for nothing freak!"
I heard snickers coming from the four sides of the dance room. I just bowed my head. There they go again. Laughing at me, mocking me. I won't cry. I won't cry. I keep saying to myself.
Oh well, if I was her I would definitely hate myself too. Imagine being paired with someone who doesn’t even know how to dance in the most important program of the school.
"Hey! Are you just gonna bow there?! How did you even get accepted in an academy as prestige as Seoul Performing Arts?!” she shouted.
“I-I….” I stammered. What will I say? I honestly don’t know.
“Whatever. I don't care. This is boring. You bettee clean up your act before the presentation or else you're dead." she said while cutting me off.
“Stop it already, Nana.” A voice said.
Wait.
I know that voice.
Heck, I’ll probably recognize that voice anywhere.
It’s his voice, afterall.
Oh Sehun’s.
“Sehun-oppa!” Nana gasped, “I wasn’t doing anything.” She insisted.
“I heard you. Stop bullying her.” He said with a straight face.
“Bu—“ she started.
“If you want, I could trade places with you. I’m paired with Kai” he said, cutting her off.
You should see her reaction, her face brightened like Christmas lights. Well, who wouldn’t be ecstatic? Kai is one of the best dancer in the school. They even called him Dancing Machine and it’s no secret that Nana has a crush on him since the start of time.
“Really?! I would gladly accept Sehun-oppa! Thank you.” she politely said to Sehun, who nodded in return. And then she looked at me “Bye freak.” She mockingly bid farewell with a flip of her hair.
“Are you alright?” Sehun asked me.
“Why wouldn’t I be?” I bravely answered him. Omo. This is the first time that we’re talking!
“Hah! So you say but what’s with the misty eyes, Minah?”
“I’m not misty-eyed!” I denied, “wait! Did you just call me Mi—“
“Minah?” he asked, I nodded. “Well, that is your name afterall. And I like the sound of it.” He finished with a smile. Oh gosh, kill me. The campus heartthrob is smiling at m
“But almost everyone here is calling me freak. How’d you know my name?” I said, askance.
He just smiled.
“So we’re partners now!” He said, changing the subject. “What should we do then?”
“Hey, you haven’t answered my question! But, I don’t have any ideas. Sorry.” I retorted. What should we do? I can sing a little but he probably want to dance.
