A/N: I don't recommend this book for children under 13, as it contains sexually based offences, such as rape. Proceed at your own risk. This is also based on two serial killers from America, who were at one point, at large.

The Game ~

The Game, is something difficult to explain. It takes place in a large Nature Reserve for birds, and is lined by an electric fence, which is 10 feet high. It's filled with large oak-trees, and various bushes/plants. There's a large lake in the center of the Reserve, and a few Cabins line the outside (exits/entrances). The floor, is covered in acorns, old leaves and thorns. The Man who owns the Reserve, Brewster, lives in one of the Cabins, partially. It contains a bunk bed with just one mattress, which is supposed to be white, and a chipped, muddy writing-desk. The floor of the cabin has hundreds of cracks and loose floorboards and the windows have curtains, while the loose door is always locked.

Brewster also owns a jeep, and he uses this to smuggle in his victim. He mainly targets young teenagers who are lost. He says he'll take them home, and offers them a ride. Because he has a dog, the children nearly always agree and get into the car. But then Brewster double-crosses them, and locks them in the back of the jeep, in the dog-cage. He bounds and gags them with white cloth and keeps them there until they reach the Nature Reserve.

Then, he dresses them in shorts and a shirt that doesn't fit. He takes away their shoes and socks, so they have to run in bare feet, and makes their hair loose. Then he lets them loose in the Reserve, and they have to run; if they want to live. He will then begin to chase them after five minutes with his dog Orion; a Blue-Spotted Heeler. He also has a tranquilizer gun, which he uses to shoot the victim once they're in range. He shoots them once they stop running, or become tired. The darts are full of Ketamine, which is a drug used on Horses.

Brewster will then take the victim to his cabin, and will lay them on the bunk bed. He will tie them to it and hold them at gun point, while he rapes them. Then he won't let them sleep, he will send them out again, and again, and again. You have to keep running if you want to live. Sometimes Brewster will leave the Nature Reserve for a day or two, and you'll have to forage if you want to eat.

The only way to end the Game, is to end life.
