"Where is this fucker?" my best friend muttered to her phone. We've been trying to get an Uber out of the airport we landed in from Texas. My best friend, Robin, and I have been best friends for years and have always talked and dreamed about moving to Hawaii to get away from the homophobic and narcissistic state of Texas. "Babes maybe we could try a cab?" I suggested. "Ew. Getting in one of those disgusting cabs is the last thing I wanna do right now. Do you know how many diseases are in those things?!" Robin looked over at me sticking her tongue out and crinkling her nose. Laughing at her I turn my head and look up at the sky closing my eyes taking in the warm Hawaiian sun. Interrupting my peace in this chaotic moment a car pulled up in front of us. "Finally!! Hey! Can you give us some help sir?" Robin asked the driver and got in the back of the car. ~~~~~~ "OH. MY. GOD. THIS PLACE IS BREATHTAKING WHAT THE ABSOLUTE HELL?!?" Robin expressed our new home by the beach. "Had to get the best for the best bitches" I winked at her.

-their house- "Well no shit. Look at that view, Cynthia. We made it." She looked out at the ocean from our backyard with tears in her eyes. I don't blame her, we have been through hell and back but we still made it out of that shitty town together to complete our dreams. And now that we are finally here, it's so surreal. "Tell me I'm dreaming." I told her rhetorically. "Obviously you get the master bedroom cause you found us this place and paid for it which i still have no clue on how you did it but HEY I'm not complaining!" Robin went running up the oak stairs to examine the other rooms. I was more focused on the beautiful kitchen that caught my eye when I was house hunting.
