"r-renjun...you're ears are bleeding!"
haechan pointed out. The salt and pepper-haired boy slowly removed his hand from his ear and stared at the blood that is now covered all over his palm and fingers. As renjun stared at the red substance, his hand automatically started to palpitate and he also started to hyperventilate at the terrifying sight. Horrible memories which aided in the development of his fear resurfaced at the forefront of his mind.
The boy briefly remembered telling his friends about his hemophobia (fear of blood) but instead of comforting him, they teased him about his fear, with the exception of jeno and jaemin though.
Because they understand.
"H-help me..."
renjun softly said to jeno and jaemin, staring at them with pleading eyes. He then fainted because of the extreme nauseating feeling from the very sight of blood.
"renjun!"
Everyone screamed his name as they ran towards him and went into a state of panic... even more than before. After jaemin set the unconscious boy in a comfortable position, jeno made everyone give renjun some space and then used the back of his hand and placed it on the base of the boy's neck to test his temperature since he didn't have a thermometer on him. jeno soon found out that renjun is troubled with a high fever because he feels so abnormally hot than normal. What is happening all of a sudden? He was certain that renjun came to this place with them just fine.
"You guys go on without us, me and jaemin will stay here with renjun"
jeno said to mark, haechan, and the others.
"No, we can't leave you guys here in a haunted asylum... alone. We're all in this together... remember?"
mark said then asked.
"Everything will be okay. As long as we have each other, we'll be fine."
jeno reassured. mark nodded with uncertainty and left in hesitation with the others. When they were gone, jaemin took out a wet napkin from his backpack and used it to wipe the blood clean from renjun's hands and ears.
jeno and jaemin were so worried for their renjun.
Will renjun be okay? Will renjun ever wake up from unconsciousness? Why did they agree to explore a haunted asylum which most likely would have dried blood found anywhere?
