"Calum, come here." Laur yelled from the living room.
"What is it?" He asked slightly out of breath from running.
"I have to tell you something." She said, pulling him to the couch.
"Why don't you just go tell Luke?" He replied, rolling his eyes.
"What's wrong with you?" She asked, irritation evident in her voice.
"I just don't understand why you decide you need to tell me things now? Yesterday you obviously wanted nothing to do with me." He seethed and Laur let out a scoff.
"If you would actually shut the fuck up for once then you would know that I'm trying to tell you that I couldn't find you yesterday." She spat.
"Yeah sure, that's what you were gonna tell me." He said, rolling his eyes.
"Calum, don't be like this." She hissed. "I'm not going down this stupid rabbit whole again. Get over your jealousy or I'll purposefully go to Luke next time around."
"I'm not jealous." He mumbled.
"Whatever you say. Can we talk now?"
"I guess so." He replied.
"So yesterday, I told Mikey I was in love with him." She started. Calum's eyes widened, the previous argument immediately forgotten.
"You had the balls to admit it?" He asked, with an impressed expression on his face. "How'd he respond?"
"I didn't mean to tell him. I just blurted it out." She cringed. "And after he asked if I meant it I may have run out and looked for you and ended up venting to Luke."
"You walked out again?" He said exasperated. "I thought you learned your lesson the first time 'round."
"I panicked." She hissed in response. "It doesn't matter though, because after my heart to heart with Luke I came back and we talked."
"So? Don't leave me on a cliffhanger please." Calum replied impatiently.
Laur flashed him a smile before continuing. "He told me he's in love with me. Head over heels to be precise." A blush rose on her face.
"Could've told you that before, babe." He chuckled, "I'm glad you had that talk though. I'm proud of you for overcoming that fear."
"Thanks Cal. That actually means a lot." Laur replied with a small smile on her face. Calum narrowed his eyes whilst he looked at her.
"Wait a second. Did you just get laid?" He asked her. Laur's eyes widened and she started turning red. Answering Calum's question without even intending to. The man in question burst out laughing. "You totally did. Was it good?" He continued, trying to see how far he could take this conversation.
"A lady never tells." Laur replied to him, narrowing her eyes slightly.
"Good thing you're not a lady then." He teased. Laur set to reply but was interrupted by the doorbell.
"You expecting anyone?" Calum asked with a frown.
"I don't think we are actually. Maybe Shay is though. I'll go look." She replied. She left Calum in the living room and went to open the door. When she opened it she was surprised to see Nia standing there.
"Please don't close the door on me. I'm not here to start shit I promise." Nia said as soon as she saw Laur open the door. Laur visibly debated her options, but eventually decided to let her in. Figuring she can always kick her out if she acts up again.
"Thank you." Nia said. "Any idea where I can find Shay?"
Just as she asked the question Calum walked into the hall to see why Laur was taking that long.
