I am nowhere near normal. My name is James Pruitt, I'm a freshman in Bridgeway high school. I like to think of myself as smart. I've never been the jock kind of person, I've always loved things like chess because of its strategy. I'm always finding the best ways to solve problems, but I never thought it would help me survive.
"Ring" went the bell. Time for algebra 1. "Alright class take your seats" Ms Henley said. Ms Henley is in her mid twenties, she's tall but not too tall, she has black hair that goes past her shoulders, and I've had the hots for her for about the whole year. As I walk to me desk in the front row I notice that someone has drawn things on it again. It really annoys me how kids think they can just vandalize whatever they want. As I sit down I get out my pencil and start erasing the drawing until nothing's left. "Alright take out your notes, were going over radicals today," that made my eyes roll. We have been going over radicals for about a week, it was WAY to easy, a third grader could do it. I grumble as I take out my notes from my Pokemon backpack. Sometimes I get funny looks or snickers from kids that see my backpack, but Pokemon is awesome so I could care less. As I start going over my worksheet, (I already know its 100% correct) I act like I am working on it. And if your wondering no I don't have any friends. There's no need for them when you're a genus around a bunch of morons. After the math bell rings I get up to go to my next class. "Nerd!" John, a (dumb) jock says as he knocks my papers out of my hands scattering papers everywhere. He laughs as he and his "friends" walk away watching me pick up all my stuff. I really don't like him.
