Chapter 1

*(Y/n)'s Pov*

As the weeks went by I spent more time playing with Sally. We even went into a Discord call with each other and it turned out she really was a girl. Of course that didn't bother me as some of my friends I stream and record with are girls. Sally was a really skilled gamer and I enjoyed playing with her on my alt account. Of course she knows I've been using an alt account but I don't think she's figured out I'm a streamer. I would rather keep that a secret as i'm not sure how she'd react and it could turn out really bad for me or even her if she found out. After all there's a lot of crazy fans out there and I don't want some random girl I know very little about to get hurt just because she was playing a few games with me. I was currently getting ready to join  Sally in a discord call as we had decided to play a game together tonight since both of us had some free time. So I sat down at my gaming setup and started it up and went into discord and called Sally. After a few seconds she answered the call. "Hey (Alt/Gamer/Tag)! Ready to game?" She asked fired up already and I smiled. "Hey Sally! Yeah, I'm ready! So what should we play tonight?" I asked and she sighed and I could hear her leaning back in her chair. "I don't know! I've gotten a little bored of the normal FPS games we play like Apex and Warzone!" She said to me and I nod. "Hmm then how about we try something different?" I said. "What you got in mind?" She replied and I smiled. "Hmmm true! How about we play Minecraft or even play Portal 2 together?" I asked and Sally perked up. "Oooo Portal 2 sounds good! Let's play that!" She said and I nod. 

"Alright. Let me get the game launched and I'll send you an invite." I said and she replied with a simple alrighty. I smiled and started going through the options of getting the game set up. "So Sally you're still in High school right?" I asked her. "Yep! Why?" She asked me seeming to have a suspicious tone in her voice. Must be thinking I'm trying to flirt with her. I thought to myself before continuing to speak. "Oh well I was just wondering if there's any friends of your's at school you play games with too?" I asked and the tone disappeared from her voice when she heard my reply. "Oh! No not really. I mean I do have one friend who games with me from time to time but she's not very good or interested in video games like me so she usually drops them pretty quick!" Sally replied and I nod. "I see. She's still a good friend for giving your a hobby a try from time to time though!" I replied and I could practically hear the smile on Sally's face as she replied. "Yeah she is! She can be a bit goofy at times but she's my best friend in the whole world!" Sally replied and I smiled as I sent her the invite. "It's always a good feeling to have a good friend you know you can rely on!" I said and she giggled. "I hear that!" She said and I smiled as we started playing Portal 2.

*Next Day*

I woke up the next morning on a Saturday morning as my alarm went off. "Stupid alarm!" I said groggily as I started to wake up and I sat up stretching and looked at the time. It was only 7:45 am and I got out of bed rubbing my head and went into the bathroom and started to wash my face. I then went into my bedroom and got changed and went into the kitchen and looked for something to make for breakfast. "Oh right I used up the rest of the eggs yesterday! *Sighs* I should go grocery shopping but first I need to get some breakfast!" I muttered to myself and then went to get ready to head into the city to get some breakfast and groceries. For breakfast I headed to a cafe that I really liked going too. It's not one of those themed cafes like a maid or cat cafe but just a regular cafe that had some really good food. That's in fact why it was so good as the owner's view of the restaurant was not relying on crazy design schemes to get customers but a comfortable atmosphere and good food and drinks. So I walked into the cafe and saw the owner behind the counter as usual. "Morning Mr. Takahata." I said as I walked up to the counter and he smiled at me. "Ah young (Y/n) it's good to see you!" He replied to me smiling.

"So the usual as always (Y/n)?" He asked me and I smiled and nod. "Yes please!" I said and he smiled and nodded. "Coming right up!" He replied heading into the kitchen. "Sit where ever you'd like! We're not that busy this morning." He told me and I nodded. I then headed over to a table but as I was walking to a table I noticed a brown haired girl and black haired girl sitting at a table eating and chatting with each other. They look familiar but I can't place why! I thought to myself but shrugged it off and sat down. Soon my food was brought over along with my (Favorite/drink) and I smiled and thanked Mr Takahata before I started eating but as I was eating I heard one of the girls say something interesting. "Ughhh that (Alt/Gamer/tag)! He's a great guy to play with but he's so annoying too! He killed me like 20 times last night during our Portal 2 playthrough together!" The brown haired girl said and I glanced over at them trying to keep it discreet.  "Wow Risa! That sounds annoying! Is he really as good of a guy as you say he is?" The black haired asked the brown haired girl who I learned her name was Risa.

Risa sighed as she put a spoonful of her parfait into her mouth and chewed it before continuing to speak. "Yeah he is Kaede but (Alt/Gamer/Tag) is a good guy and he just likes to goof around from time to time. To be honest I might have killed him a good bit too." She replied meekly as she ate. The black haired girl who I now know is named Kaede nodded and I was in shock the girl who I was playing Portal 2 with last night was sitting with in 10 feet of me and she was quite cute. Not saying gamer girls can't be cute but she didn't look like how I thought she would. However this would only creep her out so I decided to bring up in our next chat tonight. Besides i have to go grocery shopping. So I finished my meal and went and paid however I noticed that when I was leaving Kaede and Risa had noticed me and were talking about me. "You know Kaede that guy looked a lot like (Gamer/Tag)?" Risa said. "(Gamer/Tag)?" Kaede replied but I quickly left the store before they realized who I was. Didn't expect her to know my Streaming alias! I thought to myself as I left the cafe and headed to the store. Should I still talk to her about it tonight? I thought to myself as I walked.
